I have to constantly remind her of her goal, which is to have a mind like Sherlock Holmes.

I can't stand it when you're in a debate with someone, and no matter how many times we go over why Proposition P is false, they bring it back up five minutes later...

An ESFP with a goal to have a mind like Sherlock Holmes?

You might also try to teach a chimp to play guitar... you'll have better luck with the chimp!

Ahhhh, I just posted a "beautifuL" post over in the "what pisses off INTJ's" thread ... but now that I've vented there, I'm done. Lol, it came out a bit more angry than I expected, but I was really pissed off today. And every day. That's why it's in that thread, and not here. (Well, that, and, I didn't see this thread first. Oops. Still new.)

So it's now 3:40 in the morning and I'm awake for some unknown reason venting about drama to other INTJ's. *Sigh*

Makes me wonder why I ever accepted the promotion ... but then I'm right back to "it's a pay raise *and* it's more hours" ... and I couldn't pay rent and bills without it. And at least now I only have *one* semi-incompetent superior and 4 (out of 5) semi-incompetent "equals." If I was still a crew person, it'd be *6* people who think they have the right to tell me what to do just because their paycheck is bigger than mine!

Although on a positive note, I've discovered patience eventually pays off. You don't have to "brown-nose" (kiss ass) to be appreciated ... once your "rival" leaves. While she's still there, forget it. There goes your raise! But once she's gone, you've "my favorite manager!" Where's my 6-month raise now, huh? Why was I the least appreciated when I was the one (after she left, that is) who scored a 92% on my first mystery shop, when on my first full shift alone in the store? When the store manager herself didn't pass? All the sudden I have a lot more confidence that I'll be the first manager to pass our SOR (short operations review). All I have to do is just keep tabs on our problem areas ... times on the cabinets, times on the dress table, old product in the walkin, service times, following charts.

I do so wish more people understood that not everyone thinks raucous good times are a good way to overcome jet lag... and what's with the security people in the Netherlands, anyway. They are just plain mean.

Yes, they are. Essentially, they have no real power or influence, so they take that out on random passengers. I've been on the receiving end of it as well. My uncaring attitute didn't sit well with them, resulting in strange hands in my underwear. Oh well. Lost one more scrap of virginity

It's only good for a scrap of virginity if you were wearing them at time.

Today my boss had what looked like a mini stroke. He couldn't speak for over ten minutes and he started limping. He also became very confused.

The first thing that went through my mind was, "if he's having a stroke and is impaired... I'm going to give myself a substantial pay rise"... O.o

God damn I think I'm messed up sometimes

...oh and btw, he seems fine... just a weird migraine thing, though I do think he should have been bought to the emergency room.... half a morning gone.. sigh.
    Snowguard thanked this post.
