By the way, I just pulled out the card the state trooper lady gave me. Do they usually write personal phone numbers on the back?

Update: The reason I'm late for work this morning is because the same trooper pulled me over in the same spot the accident happened yesterday. I was so pissed I was seeing red when she told me it was a violation to have a headlight out in the rain. Remember, this is the same trooper lady who stood on the side of the road with me for an hour the previous day; if anyone should have let me go, it's her.

Anyway, she told me to get it fixed. Then, in one of those rare moments when I accidentally say the right thing, the following conversation took place.

SL4289: You know, there are easier ways of talking to me.
Trooper lady: (already walking back to car) There would be if you'd call that number I gave you (gets in car, drives away).

I think I'm being aggressively pursued by a woman with a badge and a gun.

Okay, if a girl were that determined, and I were single, I'd definitely go for it. Damn that's hot...

Hotter than being in the embrace of a woman who's lethal with her bare hands? **most innocent expression**

Picture the following scene: A peaceful meadow on which herder quietly sits. Then, suddenly, a bonfire emerges glowing red hot. The herder approaches the heat, basking himself in it. He wants to approach it, be close to it. The heat is familiar, warm, likable, if, perhaps a bit common.

Then, suddenly, another flame appear,s, burning blue white, shining with the radiance of a thousand suns. The other fire looks like a dark spot compared to the overwhelming, all-consuming hotness of the fire. Yet, the herder is not burned - not yet. Knowing full well the danger, he is drawn to the heat and stretches out to embrace it. Death would be better than having to miss that radiance, and he is willing to risk everything, up to his very life, to never have to leave it, snatching true life from the hands of Death.

Would this metaphor describe my feelings in this matter?

INTJ bonus question: how hot would this fire be?
Anahata and Prudence S. thanked this post.

It's my rugged good looks and dark, mysterious disposition. I'll take a different rout to work tomorrow morning then call her in the evening and ask why she didn't pull me over.
