My faith in humanity would decrease once I see so called "princesses" shake their asses on dudes. Yes, girls dance like that here. It's South Carolina, where the teen pregnancy rate is similar to the average blood pressure here.

    me, posing like a loser:

me, with my O face, still not looking at the camera

still refusing to look at the camera

a very rare shot of me looking at..the...camera..

one more of me not looking at the camera

A lot of people who meet me for the first time or maybe even not the first time think I'm gay. I'm not, I just speak well and am brown so it's weird to people I guess. And I was born in England so my mannerisms are a little funny I suppose.

Another trackday, another photo. This was my first day on my new-to-me trackbike ('02 R6, for the past 4-5 years was the racebike of the guy I got it from). Should be a good bike to set me on the path towards racing, although I spend most of the day trying to figure out shifting (when, where, how many gears, and how to do it to upset the bike the least) since I've only been on the track with my liter bike before.

It was a good day, still a little bit faster, a lot more consistent (I actually had trouble choosing which photo I wanted to purchase this time)...next trackday is on June 1st at the same track, so hopefully we'll see even more progress. Shooting for the new racer school being held in November this year. Got my work cut out for me, but with enough determination and help, I think it'll be do-able.

I can see you are luckier than me.
I had an "incident" with my motorbike, you know, the stupid one where don't put your feet correctly on the side when you stop, and the motorbike starts going down ^^
I accompanied it calmly to the ground. Then took all my strength and what was left of my ego, and put it back on it's wheels, before doing the half remaining meter to park it.

Apart a huge bruise on my ego, nothing else has any visible signs of the incident, not the bike nor me.

No, not really. I dropped my first bike so many times I lost count lol. I've also crashed, several times - and I know I will again, if I plan on racing, at some point it's going to happen. (I've also been riding for 7 years and have a bit of a stupid streak.) Hopefully not for awhile, but it will. That's part of why I got the trackbike - for what I paid, I could crash my street bike once and have paid for this bike. Plus, this bike is a lot "friendlier" to learn on, a lot more forgiving than my street bike, and is all set up for racing so I can at least get started with it on the grid when the time comes.
