Yes, indeed. They were not nearly as anal about everything as we were."SEX IS BAD. ANAL SEX IS WORSE."

So you use what gave you the disease as medicine? Fascinating.

I do think that physical compatibility is an undeniable and significant factor in marriage. Physical attraction is still a part of attraction. Whoever denies that is just flat out lying. So yes, on all accounts, I think it is important for two people to live together prior to marriage.
ah, actually my ramblings was to point out that it wasnt the "living together" part that was viewed as evil, it was the premarital sex.

you dont need to have sex with somebody to be attracted to them. knowing if an attraction is shared between two people =/= having to act on that impulse. but that's an entire different discussion altogether

reiteration, i thought you were saying living together was viewed as the 'evil' and i was saying it was the underlying sloosh smack gushy funtimes that people were all up-in-arms about

No, I understood that you thought that having sex was evil. And I'm saying that I don't think it is. I find it odd people consider sex evil when it's necessary for our survival. Also, you can be attracted to someone and have poor physical compatibility.
Generally, just thinking of the numbers, I find it more likely that two people have had pre-marital sex prior to marriage than living together. So if they're doing it anyway, might as well have a pre-marriage rehearsal as well.
