Remind(s) me of this INFP who needed awhile to grasp thing(s) - when I could see a link in about (2)-seconds (&) (S)-types seem to lag - they still need a differential way of explanation or more time.
As an Si dom, I agree. We tend to be more inductive in our thought process than Ni doms.

It may be different from INTJs to other, but I make what I call "information compression" and "shortcuts" on a majority of things.

For example, consider the 5 times table, if you were to divide say 12 by 2 you get 6 correct? 5 times 12 is 60, 7 divided by 2 is 3.5, 5 times 7 is 35. From these tricks i find myself i say to myself "5 times table is simply any number divided by 2 and moved to the right by 1 placeholder"
These things repeat without having to think about them and it gets to the point where i know things intuitively due to my habits.
P.S Sorry about the math explanation, the (T)hinking was acting up.
yes, though it's easier to multiply by ten then divide by two. Same result. :-)

Well maybe, but depends on the other factors. I find that if I am not engaged in the topic, I am much slower than the average Joe. I can be way too dismissive with finer details, and also, abandon topics completely if I have already worked things out conceptually.
