    I know you like Leonard Cohen. He spent 5 years at a Buddhist monestary and became a Zen Buddhist Monk. You probably know this just saying. Iím an admirer of Leonardís too and grew up near where he did in Montreal

    Didn't know that. I saw that this molecule has some nice beneficial effects so I could take that as a compliment

    Aye. 60 years of depression gone - or, as Leonard put it, "cured of the illusion of being sick".

    @Alpha12 are you Indian and living in India? Hindu? Muslim? Nothing? There's obviously a shitton of all sorts of considerations there that an American in the US would never need to think about ... but at the end of the day, staring at a wall in a place where you can't distract yourself is designed to help overcome the kind of trouble you mention.

    Alcar is schedule-H drug and very beneficial for improving mental ability. Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALCAR) is a mitochondrial boosting supplement that improves mood, learning, and memory.ALCAR also helps your muscle mitochondria burn fat, which can increase your endurance, give you an edge in the gym, and help you recover faster. I also take it. 2 grams every day.

    @Alpha12

    I do have trouble procrastinating, but it's not all bad.

    Something on procrastinating

    Whenever I hit a mental block when I work, I still write it out. It may be irrelevant, but there is a link between the relevant and the irrelevant. The irrelevance had to come from somewhere. **When I do the work, I never think about the end. It sharply decreases quality and speed of the production (of my work)

    For the social anxiety, I have it too but only for crushes. I only had two crushes in my lifetime so far and I'm 20 almost 21. May I suggest joining a club of your interest. The best way to beat it is have your mind distracted on the activity that you don't have a social anxiety attack.
    I still look for a logical reason to talk to anyone. I don't engage without a reason

    I don't remember the source, but highly intensive workouts leads to a lower sex drive. I found this to be true with me. I believe that it has something to do your body being too tired that it can't keep running on high intensity. It's not as simple as showing up to the gym for an hour and working out. I stopped using machines since they're more of a hindrance to the intensity level of a workout. I only use dumbbells and barbells. Watch some athleanx videos on youtube if you want to increase intensity.

    If you ever watched Kung Fu Panda, master Oogway said this best
    "You too concerned of what was and what will be."
    This struck me since the context of this was Po was discouraged by the five and Shifu and therefore Po was pointing out his own flaws.I used to do this but then I realized that I have some great parts of me too. Find your great parts and bring them out.
    Don't worry about your past, focus on the now, and see what tomorrow will bring. (I also modified a line from Kung Fu Panda).
    Once you believe in yourself, you will blossom. I cannot tell you how you can reach your full potential.
    Seriously just watch Kung Fu Panda. I watch it from time to time when I feel discouraged.
    Alpha12 thanked this post.
