Would you like living in a stealth van (camping)?

I've recently become interested in people on youtube who live in an RV full-time. I am drawn to the minimalistic lifestyle. They often stay for free in public locations, they often have solar panels. They have tanks for water and propane. I like the idea of how independent they are.
I've been also fascinated by people building stealth camper vans. These may have no windows and look like a typical work van. Nobody would suspect somebody is sleeping in them. While it would suck to have no windows, you could park right in the city somewhere, like all the time and live there if you wanted to.
I'm also drawn to the solitude and to the private space within a non-private environment. For example if I was parked in a busy street with many people walking by, but I was inside my little van, nobody would know I'm there.
The other thing is that I may actually enjoy small living spaces. I'm drawn to that idea somehow. For example, I bet it would be interested to live on a submarine or similar, where you have a little bunk bed.

So what do you guys think about all of this? Could there be INTP-typical interests?

I had a crazy job once where I was an adventure tour leader. I had a van and about 8-12 passengers and I'd lead several week camping road trips all over the US. So I basically lived out of the van. What I loved about it is that wherever you were you had everything you needed... definitely helps in terms of 'being in the moment.' I did miss having my own space, but you wouldn't be sharing your van with a bunch of other people.

I definitely slept in the van in a lot of cool spots. My favorite was driving out to a little rise in the middle of the Utah desert when a thunderstorm broke all around me. Stunning. So the mobility I think would be super cool.

"Normal" living is so sooo boring. I live in a plastic bag underneath my bed. It's a personal revolt towards my "normal" life, "normal" room, "normal" bed. I am very attracted to alternative living. I am personally thinking of building a little cabin on wheels, my own anarchy kingdom. No need for land or property, I just park it and enjoy the scenery.... If the authority has a problem with it and its location, I just move it a bit (more paper work for them, more freedom for me). No authority can hold me down, I am a free soul. Haha... and yes I would like living in a stealth van too.

I would really love it and have considered it before! Though I admit, I do like having a "home base" of sorts where I can return to for a few months at a time, though my idea of a "home base" is a small cabin in the woods somewhere, away from people. There is something comforting to me about having that ONE place I can always rely on to be there for me when I return from a long journey.

Definitely not. A Unabomber-style shack, sure, but not a van.

I've always wanted to live on a steady diet of government cheese and live in a van down by the river.

Is it the same stealth van that has "free candy" written on the side with a bear driving it. If so, i want no parts of it.

I've actually considered trying it, but I'm not sure I'd want to make it my home. Temporary living, like for a few years, maybe. But not permanently.

The racks on submarines and other Navy vessels are built so that you have to lie flat on your back/stomach and not enough room for you to roll onto your side. That is appealing?

Do you think INTPs would prefer the van in a remote wilderness, or parked incognito in a city?
