Good on her for finally being done with it all.

You're rather hard to understand, that was perfectly innocuous.

Also, got anything more original than cunt? Eryngo kinda wore that word out.

The last year I've taken more painkillers than in the ten years before that in total, I think. I don't know if they're supposed to do that, but they make me feel sleepy and warm and good. So I take some every time I find an excuse or reason to.

Somehow they've made me consider antidepressants as well. But then I spoke to someone about it and they were extremely negative to that idea. I just want something to make me feel numb, in a way, and it has to be legal. I don't know, the other options seem bad too.

Antidepressants aren't bad if you want to not feel like shit and be able to do things. I don't do them, but I know they work for people and what they do for them.

Anyway, good to see you, School.

Yeah, I think his reaction was mostly based on "but they're drugsss", which is rich coming from a person who does illegal drugs.

Thank you, it's good to see you too :)

Maybe you should try CBD oil. Over the long term, using opioid painkillers lowers your Vitamin D (which leads to fatigue and depression) and testosterone, which affects your sex life.

This is more like a random thought, but it's a little bit feelsy so it's going here.

I would do anything right now to just spend an hour sat quietly by myself, in a calm English summer forest, with nobody else around.

You will be numb/emotionally buttressed with antidepressants, so if that's what you want, that's exactly what they are supposed to do.

    That being said, three things:

    1) There is an expected umbrella of effects and side effects for each type of antidepressant, but the fine details of how they affect a person vary according to their individual biology. No two people respond exactly the same, so you will be eased in over the course of months, and cannot quit cold turkey if you don't want your brain to hate you.
    2) Each type of antidepressant inevitably comes with some manner of drawback (my being caustic since late 2018 wasn't just the result of life events). If you get to choose, do it with this in mind and research.
    3) Pain killers are addictive, and may interact with your antidepressants in ways that can make you feel worse, so only choose antidepressants if you're sure you can put the painkillers on hiatus.

    1) and 2) was the biggest reasons I had for avoiding it, but I think the path my mind is on nowadays will lead to worse troubles anyway if I don't try something new. Other than the painkillers, which barely count, I had never used any "medicine" (I don't know which word to use) to deal with emotional stuff. Then when I was inpatient I got a really low dose of oxazepam, but it worked really well. I'm almost annoyed that I haven't gotten anything like that before, though I guess I understand why. As for 3), I knew they could be addictive but not the rest, I'll definitely have to think about that / talk to them about that.

Anyway, thank you, that was very helpful and I'll keep it all in mind.
