Go out in your yard and dig a hole. Wire some electricity from your house. Set up a small living room with a refrigerator and microwave inside the hole. Seal the hole with a metal door (be sure to include air holes). If you're worried about money, charge for anyone who wants to visit you (spouse and family members included). Happy life from now on.
EDIT: Make sure you have access to a computer and internet within your new home! You don't want to have to leave just for that.
Now, what type of computer? Mac? PC? All of them? I guess we'll have to compromise. A monster of a PC with an ever growing establishment of emulators to emulate every operating system in history.
That would be awesome. We would have to get one of our INTJ friends to help. But we'd have to make it compact, otherwise we'd have to dig a bigger hole.
I think I'll just keep living in my apartment. It's kind of a hole in its own right, but at least it's not damp.
Plus, moving my computer is no small feat. Only part of it is in a tower... the rest is comprised of parts and displays sprawling across a couple desks.
I believe the OP aspires to create a race of mole-men. Same thing happened to me for a while when I was a kid... my dad exposed me to too many bad 50's sci-fi movies at an impressionable age.
The key aspect here is not coming into contact with humans for the rest of your life. I guess you could just as well put a metal door on your apartment but people would get suspicious. You can camouflage a hole in the ground.
Funny story, I had told my ISFJ mother, her ISTJ friend, and my INFJ sister this idea and needless to say they thought I was crazy. You can thank my mom for the air holes because it hadn't occured to me until she suggested it.Derp.
Your plan also neglects another modern necessity - indoor plumbing. Having to return to the house kind of defeats the purpose, and the alternative would become rather unpleasant smelling rather quickly.
And besides, my backyard lacks any trees for me to punch to get the wood to craft the shovel to dig the hole to begin with...
I followed the instructions set forth in the OP but have not detected a noticeable increase in my quality of life. I would like to lodge a formal complaint.
What about worms and bugs and stuff... sounds like a whole lotta work and not a whole lotta gain
