Girly? Hmmm. I would say my girly-ness pops out unexpectedly. I get teased for loving fashion magazines but generally wear t-shirts and jeans. I have a utility skirt that I adore for summer, it is denim, knee-length and has a lot of pockets. I almost only wear one pair of earrings over and over, when I remember to put them on, although I own others. I like eye make-up but use it according to mood not routine.
I do not expect men to treat me differently but watch me swoon when a guy helps me with my coat or carries something for me that I am completely capable of carrying for myself. I am a total sucker for well-mannered men, especially when I can feel the vibe that it is not by rote but by nature that they are courteous. I find it a bit illogical to care if he got that door for me but it still matters and garners him points.
I related to many of the other posts here, nice to have company.

I think it's because my entire life I've known that what makes me unique is my brain and the term 'girly girl' just has such airhead connotations with it that I am afraid less perceptive people will confuse girly appearance with lack of intelligence. And then I have nothing to go on with. I don't mean to offend anyone if they are girly. I as a female INTP know that girliness and brains aren't mutually exclusive, but I can just never trust the rest of the world to not think that.
Being further along in my career, it doesn't matter as much now as it seems to mean around peers when younger; as long as I look professional at the workplace and express intelligence in how I do my work, so that I'm taken seriously, the rest of my life is pretty much mine to look however I want, and at this point I've surrounded myself with people who know who I am rather than me having to worry as much about how I'm perceived... they know I'm smart, so it doesn't matter whether I dress the part or not...

Nooo... I like it better when you girls giggle while discussing anime, video games, or string theory.

    INTP - The Thinkers

Giving it thought, our Ne can manifest in many ways, so doing so in feminine ways within a woman would not be unheard of. Sadly, people stereotype INTPs because MBTI has reached a "pop culture" status. This is dangerous, because it can cause people to limit themselves in what they do or feel capable of.

    INTP - The Thinkers

I am very female on the outside. I am even what people consider a sexy woman. I wear skirts and high heels. Yet, on the inside I am everything but girly. I don't care for children, for example. People get confused by me.
