INTP W/ ILI Mistypes as INTJ

So, over the years, while exploring the subject, I have noticed some distinct differences between myself and the average INTP. Many of which involve traits that are typically associated with my Socionics ILI as apposed to the standard INTP Socionics LII. If I remember correctly, INTJs are typically ILI, which, it occured to me, might be related to my constant mistype as an INTJ. I know that many others are also mistyped as INTJs but I never thought to ask their socionics. Anyone relate to this? Thoughts?

I think the difficulty here is first determining what our types are within Socionics. Socionics doesn't seem to put a premium on self-report tests for good reason, and the ones on the internet aren't validated and seem too MBTI-like which sows confusion. All I know is that I score as INTP on the MBTI. I can seem to relate to both Ni and Ne, so I'm not 100% positive which functional order I use, but ILI seems to make the most sense for me until I learn more and see a reason not to think that way.

I used to get INxx in MBTI tests, but I never related much to any type in MBTI and I've never seriously considered LII in Socionics.

I think very similarly. Though I identify with the ILI profile, I don't yet feel that I fully understand the system as a whole.

Thank you for the resource. :)
