    Enneagram led me here

Hey all! My name's Cara, and I'm 29 and from Canada. As stated in the title, it was enneagram that originally led me here... I was trying to figure out of my mom is a 1w9 or 1w2 (still not sure) and a 1w9 thread popped up from here in Google.

I'm super glad I found this place, though, because I LOVE personality stuff, and this forum gets so in-depth that I can tell I have a lot of reading and research ahead of me. I've known my Myers-Briggs type forever (INFP) and recently explored enneagram again, which tested me as a 4, and later 4w3.

I also just discovered socionics on here, and the one test I took says I'm EII. Since this apparently correlates with INFJ, it's got me questioning yet again whether I am truly a P or a J. At different times in my life I have tested as both, and I did one test where it literally could not choose J or P because I was exactly in the middle. Other than a very basic understanding, though, I confess that I find socionics incredibly confusing... it's going to take some time for me to understand the serious complexity of this system. Not that this is likely going to stop me from trying. :P

Anyway, if you read my rambles, thanks, and hello to you! I hope to actually stick around and get truly involved in this forum.

    WELCOME!

Don't feel too badly about Socionics. It is an attempt to improve upon MBTI. The problem is that it was created by a Lithuanian, and serious underlying concepts concerning it are poorly translated into English.
