I view friendships as people that I enjoy spending my time around, people that positively effect my life, and people I share common interests with. People like me because of my easygoing, accepting, and loyal nature. Some difficulties I can have making friends is going from the acquaintance level to the true friends level. Usually, If Iím interested in becoming better friends with a person Iíll ask them to hangout outside of where we met.

I love having friends. However I would say the majority that I've had- have been online, I guess it's because I'm a computer person. It's funny because I didn't think I was a nerd before and then I looked at a picture of myself and detached myself from it and was like- okay yeah. I can see that.

I hide a lot of who I am from people because I know not everyone will like me- so for some reason I need to establish that people are safe- or somehow "worthy" of getting to know me & all my special bits. I guess I sort of reward them with my trust as time goes on. Of course no one is perfect so I don't think I'm the greatest person to be friends with or anything. I genuinely care though- probably.

I have trouble making friends probably because of my desperation for good friends. I've moved around a lot through out my life so I haven't really had long term friendships apart from a friend who actually travels a lot and I get to see since they're in town sometimes. Not to mention I'm married with young children, so it's just hard in general for anyone at this point.

Hopefully any of the lessons in the video can help you - but it seems like for you half the battle is even meeting people. If you play games the app itself GameTree would be good :P
