There's a thread in the type 5 section and ISFJ is the only introverted MBTI type not represented. Over analysing things and fear of rejection seem to be common problems we face so this seems a bit strange.

I do appreciate we're far from the best represented type though, so maybe it's accurate. I may yet be the first

I find the Enneagrams confusing to me personally. XD

The type 5 Enneagram is very oriented to Ts, particularly NTs, I think. So when you're looking at a bunch of Fs, I'm not surprised to not find many of them. It's not impossible or even all that improbably for an ISFJ to be one, it's just not what ISFJs generally tend towards.

Yeah the description is stereotype INT but there are 28 of our alleged INFJ cousins (teritary Ti users) who claimed to be 5s at some point this year and 42 alleged INFPs. Likely half of these are mistypes but that's still quite a few...

Do I take it from your reply you've typed yourself seriously as a 6 rather than believing the first test you took?

I took a test, probably one linked by this website, and I think my highest were 6/2/9 not necessarily in that order. I didn't think that it really fit me, so I scraped it and read the profiles of each of the types. I still couldn't figure out which one resonated more with me, so I checked the mistyping section of types twos. The mistyping of a type six as a type two rang true to me, so I read up on type sixes a little more in depth and it fits me pretty well. I on the edge of 6 or 9 because I feel that it's a matter of how mentally healthy I am for which type I act like. Both types fit me well at both ends of the spectrum, so it's hard for me to choose between the two. I choose six because, quantifiably, it seems to fit a larger portion of my attributes than nine.

So, yeah, I did a lot more research on this than just the test. :P

The minute one begins to think of personality typologies as collections of fuzzy sets is the moment one recalls the notion of disjoint sets, and questions such as these become completely trivial.

There are probably a fair amount of 6w5.
Fear of rejection sounds more like a 6 trait than a 5 trait personally.

I'm a 6 but pretty heavy on the Ti aspect.

I came out as a 6 the first time, but just resently I keep coming out as a 5. My sister(INTP) has really rubbed off on me, so I feel like despite being an ISFJ, I'm fairly well rounded in that department.
