    Any ISFP College Grads?

Any ISFP's here whom have had success in college? As a fellow ISFP I ask because we aren't known for our traditional education skills. I have had some success in college but I have been bouncing back and forth trying to figure out where I belong (I'm 28). I know so many people for whom school and success come so easily to them, and yes I'm envious. I love being an ISFP, but I also loathe it sometimes. We appear lazy and unmotivated to those who don't understand us, which isn't true.

Also, I'm curious what kinds of careers my fellow ISFP's have. Any artists here? I am an EMT. I enjoy it sometimes, but at other times I'm frustrated with how boring and rigid it can be (can you believe that?! We need so much stimulation!).

    Thank You

I'm a musician and recently graduated from college. I had a hard time trying to decide what I wanted to study, and transferred schools...but I managed to get good grades. I have a love/hate relationship with college. I still have no idea what I want to do for sure.

I have an associates in electronics and am a electronics tech. It is very dull and the people I went to school with and work with also seem to be very dull and totally unlike me. I was working towards a bachelors but got frustrated with my career path and dropped out. I´m now trying to find some kind of artistically creative career and go back to school for that. I make decent money now but I feel isolated, bored, and depressed so I´m going to avoid compromising happiness for money in the future.

My ISFP girlfriend went to college to work in the Dental field. She studied really hard and she's had a great job for several years now!

College grad here! I didn't want to go to college after high school, but I didn't know what else to do, so I went to the local community college for general ed. I did very well, and got a scholarship to continue on to a 4 yr school, so I went. It was free, after all!

I'm not using my degree anymore, but I'm still glad that I got it. I had so many good experiences in school, and met so many great people. I worked my butt off, but I enjoy a good challenge.

But really, if I didn't get the scholarship, I probably wouldn't have gone. It's so expensive, and if you aren't absolutely certain that you'll use the degree, it's not worth it.

I'm not crazy about my current job, but I feel stuck with the job market right now. I'm thinking that I'd like to either go into landscape design or interior design. I'm leaning towards landscape, because I enjoy being outdoors so much.

I just graduated in December 2009 with my B.F.A in Furniture Design.

I was never good in school, and always had average grades ( a lot of Cs) except in my art classes!

I just got my first job as a furniture designer and am moving to D.C. to start my career.

College isn't too bad. I wouldn't really say we look lazy, usually i'm top of my class... so being an ISFP doesn't really negate anything intellectually

A lot of people throughout college thought I didn't care or worry about anything because I don't outwardly show my stress. Even though I procrastinate, I can be a perfectionist when it comes to my own work = shit ton of late nights. I think I confused a lot of people because I was the one with all these credit hours, but didn't openly show my motivation towards school.
