acting alot and not understanding why

through the years people made me believe that all people are the same and needs to be extrovert to success in life. they made me think that introvert are shy \ weirdo. so i thought im weirdo and tried to change and tried to speak to people with no point ( i hate it). so i became an idiot and tried to act "normal" all the time. till now that i found about my personality type which feels great.

any1 else expereinced this\knows what im talking about? (sorry for my bad experssion\english)

"So I became an idiot..." That made me laugh. Very well expressed!

Learning about personality types is a big revelation for many of us, yes. You're in good company here.

I went on a mission to become more extravterted even before I knew about personality type. It's like my own personal hell. I become, like you said, an idiot. I bubble. It's scary. My mom says it looks like I'm hyperventilating. Not fun >.<

Be you!! There's only one of you anyway. you're an endangered species. Protect yourself!

I'm sad to say, but you're probably going to find this everywhere and not only on the introvert/extravert axis, pick any myers-briggs letter and somebody out there will want/wish you were more like that. I think people in general try to change you to be more like them. It can be a good chance for growth but it helps if you know what you are and can return to your "roots" and be more comfortable in a variety of situations.

I never acted. But during my younger years it depressed me that being social pissed me off. It's best to find out introverts are too cool for school at a young age. That way you can be awesome indefinitely.

Such is life. Our whole demeanor and presentation is a big act. A fucking role to play to appease the masses. Gotta love conformity. I have a mask or two in my closet for these purposes. Sometimes its hard to find them though. Damn my poor organization skills!

No, My "self discovery" journey has been scattered across several internet forums. Alas I find myself back to square one!

Totally with you. I was always pushed by my parents to be more social and ended up being a bit of a fool (a socialable one though..). I waffle on about nothing, and say stuff just for the sake of saying stuff which sucks.
