Yeah, I think so. Or at least, I had characters whose personas I would take on for fun... tbh, I feel like having OCs is pretty similar to having imaginary friends, so in that sense I still have them. Lol.

I cant remember having any imaginary friends but I remember being imaginative as in scenarios for example when in the woods imagining I was being chased by a troll lol! it would start out just me just being silly after watching a horror movie... but then the more I chose to indulge in it the more frightened I became... in this case I wasn't setting out to imagine it... just remembering a scene in the movie but instead of laughing it off I fed into it.

I think I like the poster above I would just imagine I was someone else... whether playing guitar in my room imagining I was on stage at Glastonbury etc...

I used to believe my little brother had one but then again he may have just had imaginary scenarios... he used to run around shooting his gun and pretending he was being shot.... was he playing with his imaginary friend or was he just imagining himself being in a shoot out.

My best friend (ISFJ) was really into imaginary friends. She had a pet leopard lol. I went along with it, and I had a pet monkey. (maybe we were 5-6?) So we played that way alot.

But we had very strong imaginations anyways. We would play detective, pretend we were poor and had to live on the streets, cross country travelers, tree nymphs, etc. Then we would act out scenes with "imaginary" people that we voiced and acted out (ages 6-12). So I don't know if you mean specifically imaginary friends, or just playing by using imaginary things not really there.

Imaginary friends feels like an IxFP thing.

I had plenty of imaginary worlds, languages and the like, and there were beings in them. But no imaginary friends that I can remember. At best, I think I would imagine myself alongside the characters in a book - but more to explore the world they were in.

I had one at the age of 4. His name was "Jimmy." He didn't hang around much after then.
