Love them. I'm an enfp. I tend to be drawn to pretty disturbing movies. If it's creepy and depressing, very creative and shocking I stay entertained. A good representation of my taste would probably Martyrs and The Fly

ENFP - anything apocalyptic or post apocalyptic 😍 the forest is my favorite pc game!

    Love horror movies.

The only downside in my honest opinion is finding new yet good horror movies that don\'t rely on predictable jumpscares.

I like horror when it's done well or is so cheesy or badly done that it becomes funny.

INFP. I enjoy horror films. My favorite sub-genres are cosmic/Lovecraftian and psychological. Good body horror (like Cronenberg's, The Fly) are also good as are well-done supernatural horror. I tend not to like straight-up slasher films and disdain torture porn (like Hostel).

I have recently been re-watching some of Dario Argento's films: Suspiria, Inferno, and Phenomena. Although many of his films technically resemble slasher films, his style is so unique. It's all about ambience and feeling and often they are metaphorical.

I'm a fan of many of the Brian Yuzna (producer), Stuart Gordon (director), and Jeffrey Combs (actor) movies, especially those tied directly to Lovecraft's works, such as From Beyond and Re-Animator.

Sam Raimi's early works with Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness) are favorites. Raimi invented new ways of shooting scenes in his movies.

The movie that I have found to be the scariest for me was The Exorcist.

Some lesser known movies that I like include:
    Brian DePalma's Raising Cain
    Adrian Lyne's Jacob's Ladder
Ken Russel's Altered States (with definite tie-ins to Jung's idea of the collective unconscious)
Roman Polanski's Repulsion and Rosemary's Baby (from the latter, the line, "This isn't a dream. This is really happening." sends chills up my spine whenever it springs to mind)
John Carpenter's The Thing and In the Mouth of Madness

Some newer movies of the cosmic horror sub-genre worth a look (if you like that sub-genre):
    The Void
    The Endless
    Beyond the Black Rainbow
(which had me asking myself at the end, "What did I just watch?")

I have seen on You Tube videos that Guillerm del Torro has been working on bringing Lovecraft's, At the Mountains of Madness, to the screen. I can't wait to see what he does with bringing a shoggoth to life.
