    As an ENFP I always believe that everything can be reinvented and improved if you spend the time to put some thought into it! I can't understand how some people can be so unwilling to change things. Anyway, I love this idea and here is what I propose!

    First of all... everything is illogical.

    I will reinvent from the bottom up.

    First I will reform the smallest unit of time with an SI prefix... the yoctosecond.

    The yoctosecond is one septillionth of a second. However, I will change this and skew everything.

    Multiply the Yoctosecond by 0.86164 and that is the new length of the yoctosecond.

    This hardly does anything to the yoctosecond itself, however, it will completly skew the rest of the measurements.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    There are 1,000 Zeptoseconds in a Yoctosecond.
    There are 1,000 Attoseconds in a Zeptosecond.
    There are 1,000 Femtoseconds in an Attosecond.
    There are 1,000 Picoseconds in a Femtosecond.
    There are 1,000 Nanoseconds in a Picosecond.
    There are 1,000 Microseconds in a Nanosecond.
    There are 1,000 Milliseconds in a Microsecond.
    There are 1,000 Seconds in a Millisecond.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Now that this is complete you will realize how massive was caused by multiplying a Yoctosecond by 0.86164

    As you can see, every measurement of time is now slightly smaller. Seconds are now smaller than they were before. One second now is only 0.86164% the speed it used to be. This is import because when you think about it, our entire current system is based off of seconds, and the second itself does not represent anything. A second does not represent how long it takes to revolve the sun, or for the Earth to rotate. All it does is mess up everything else.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now let's continue.
    You may be wondering why I chose 0.86164? Why? I'll tell you why.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    There will be 100 seconds in a minute.

    There will be 100 minutes in an hour.

    There will be 10 hours in a day.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now it's time to let you in on a little secret.
    Here is where you will discover how genius my new mathematical based system works.
    I have fixed everything!
    My new day length is now equivalent to the EXACT amount of time it takes for the Earth to complete one rotation.
    The current system is incorrect. The current system has a day equal 86,400 seconds when in reality a day, in accoradance to the time it takes for the Earth to complete one full rotation, is EXACTLY 86,164 seconds.
    My new system is equivelent to 86,164 seconds exactly.
    My system is also highly convenient in a mathematical sense. It is very easy to transition from seconds, to minutes, to picoseconds, to hours, and to everything else.
    There will be no AM or PM. Just 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10.
    This way everything will be orderly and neat.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It doesn't end here though!

    There will now be 9 days in a week.

    1. Sunday
    2. Funday
    3. Monday
    4. Tuesday
    5. Bluesday
    6. Wednesday
    7. Thursday
    8. Friday
    9. Saturday

    Six work days and three days off.

    However, I have decided to change the names of the days of the week completly. Here is my new list.

    1. Neoday ___ {Work Day} (Means "New Day") ((Good day to start something new))

    2. Metaday ___ {Work Day} (Means "Change Day") ((Good day to improve yourself))

    3. Agiday ___ {Work Day} (Means "Move Day") ((Very busy working day))

    4. Doxday ___ {Work Day} (Means "Opinion Day") (Day to share ideas and opinions))

    5. Donday ___ {Work Day} (Means "Give Day") ((Very good to be generous today))

    6. Validay ___ {Work day} (Means "Worth Day"} ((Feel great that the work is done and done well)

    7. Dormday ___ {Day off} (Means "Sleep Day") ((The most relaxing day to sleep late and enjoy))

    8. Megaday ___ {Day off} (Means "Great Day") ((A very fun day that is epic and action packed and so great))

    9. Amiday ___ {Day off} (Means "Love day") ((The most Romantic Day))

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    So there are 9 days in a unit. [week]
    There are 5 units in a pentaplex [45 day month] (Penta=5) (Plex=parts)
    There are 8 pentaplexes (plus a Diafin) in a Pericosm. [year] (Peri=around & perimiter) (Cosm=universe)
    There are 5 full days left once all Pentaplexes (months) have been completed, and these 5 days are a new type of week right before New Years. This new week is called a Diafin. [5 day week with special days to countdown for New Years] (Dia=between & through) (Fin=end)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The units [weeks] are more convenient than 7 day weeks because the units allow for a longer break and longer work for extra time to recharge but more time to work hard. Work hard, play hard.

    The Pentaplexes [months] are more convenient than months becasue these 45 day Pentaplexes will also be exactly the same length everytime, and they will not switch back and forth between 31, 30, 29, and even 28. The Pentaplexes will always have 45 days and will not be confusing.

    The Diafin is very effective because it makes it possible for a prime number such as 365 to have a set number of secured pentaplexes (weeks) The Diafin is also a great addition for great fun before the New Year!

    The Pericosm is much more effective than the "year" because the pericosm is...
    -Always the same every year. (No leap years)
    -Dates are always the same and never switch.
    -Correct down to the last second where as the year is not actually a full year.
    -Much cooler name.

    One last time in order:

    Yoctosecond.
    Zeptosecond.
    Attosecond.
    Femtosecond.
    Picosecond.
    Nanosecond.
    Microsecond.
    Millisecond.
    Second.
    Minute.
    Hour.
    Day.
    Unit.
    Pentaplex.
    Diafin.
    Pericosm.

    Thanks. I am convinced that this system is much better. As much as I would love 4 rest days and 6 work days it's more realisitc to have 3 rest days and 6 work days and that is still an improvement. This is more than feasible though. Of course, it's always hard to implement something that people aren't used to, especially an entire date system, but it's like the metric system vs the English system of meausuring. Clearly the metric system is more efficent but it might be hard to change it. I wish people were more willing and open to change because very often it's for the better. Ideas can not be created if people are not willing to think.

    Note: By the way, I just fixed a minor (but major) spelling error. I said minutes instead of seconds and there definetaly aren't 84,000 minutes in one day.
    MisterPerfect thanked this post.

    Here's an idea:

    -30 days in every month (January - December).
    -Eliminate leap years.
    -6 days per week, resulting in exactly 5 weeks in one month.

    I would personally do away with Sunday and have Saturday be the new "Sunday".

    Of course, this would actually never work until we've made some major economic changes.
