November 2015 Member Spotlight "Wytch" Interview

Hello there, all ye members of Personality Cafe! I hope you are having a splendid December. The nominee this month had a last minute change of heart, and we are grateful she did! The winner this month has only been on the forum for 5 months, but has already accumulated over 5,000 posts! That deserves some accolades in itself! So let's all take a little bit of time getting to know:

    What's your real name? It's a secret.

    How old are you? 177.

What country are you situated in? The U.S. of A.

Are you single, dating, or married? Erm, kinda not single but not dating.

Do you have any kids? Nope.

How would you describe yourself in one word? Witch >:)

What is your favorite place to travel to? My mind.

What is your favorite color? I love greens (they're calming) but on a personal level, reds would be more "me".

What is your favorite weather? I love snow storms but in general I'd say Springlike weather.

What are your favorite books, movies, tv shows, and video games? I could be here all day if I mentioned every single one.
At one time I was very into the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, Stephen King novels, Kim Harrison novels, Melissa de la Cruz novels, The Iliad, The Odyssey, HP, LotRs and so on and so forth.
In general I am mostly into mystery, fantasy/sci-fi and horror.
So, anything in relation to those types of books, I'll probably take a look at.
Although I do also like to read about true crimes, ancient history and ancient mythologies as well.

American Psycho is one of my most favourite films.
I love too many films tbh and I know if I name a few I will forget a few and I hate that. However, I will say that Harry Potter, The Dark Knight trilogy, LotRs, Shutter Island, The Labyrinth, Alice in Wonderland, Freeway, Cruel Intentions, Interview with the Vampire, Dracula 2000, Queen of the Damned, Nightcrawler, Underworld, Atonement, The Shining, Fight Club, Wild Things, Unbreakable, Zombieland, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Hangover, Death Proof, Gone Girl, The Matrix trilogy, Inception, Donnie Darko, Wolf of Wall street, Oz, Star Trek (most of them), PotC, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Pan's Labyrinth, The Resident Evil films, 300, Stardust, Hannibal (most of them), Dahmer, Pulp Fiction, The Double, Natural Born Killers, Kill Bill, Terminator (all), The Craft, Maleficent :must stop naming films now: and many more I cannot think of atm are worth watching again.

Buffy, Supernatural, GoTs, AHS, Grimm, Vikings, The Office, Big Bang, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Dexter, House, Sherlock, Once, True Blood, Adult Wednesday Addams, Bates Motel & The Walking Dead are some of my favourite shows.

Final Fantasy is probably my favourite video game series.
Silent Hill, Witcher, Mortal Combat, KHs, Halo, Pokemon, American McGee's Alice and Zelda are also up there.
I dig most race-car games too (how ISTP of me).

What are your favorite foods and beverages? I'm a little bit of a foodie but in general I like "Comfort foods" the best. Lasagna, crepes, casseroles, tacos, waffles, soups, cheesecake, parfaits etc.
Hot apple cider, tea, smoothies, lemonade and eggnog without alcohol (and I know I'm weird for that).

What is your favorite animal? All of these "favourite" things, I cannot just choose one. :gah:
    Wolves, ravens and jaguars.

What kind of music do you enjoy? Anything (truly) but country with the exception of Johnny Cash.

Do you play or follow any sports? Nah, I'm not into watching sports. I used to horseback ride and I played a little baseball but I do not play any sports currently.

What are your favorite websites to visit? Google and its' infinite knowledge but PerC is okay too I guess.

What is your greatest weakness? Like I'm going to let everyone know that.

What is your greatest strength? My resilience.

In actuality it's really my sex appeal but I didn't want to sound conceited.

What motivates you? Sex but in all honesty anything can "motivate" me if I am in the right mindset.

What is your philosophy? "Just do it"... not really. I don't have one.

What are you passionate about? I'm a idealist trapped inside of a realist.
    My passions are complicated.

What kinds of jobs have you had? Boring ones.

What are your pet peeves? Annoying people, loud noises and chick flicks.

What are your fears? My enemies may be reading this, therefore I cannot reveal my fears.

Who do you look up to? No one.

Do you have any pets? No.

What do you do for fun and relaxation? Reading, daydreaming and sleeping.
I do like to just drive around my neighbourhood while listening to music. It's fun to have no place to go while enjoying the scenery. I also occasionally like to draw, write, cook & bake.

How did you get involved with personality typing? I saw someone talking about it during a game I was playing and I got curious from there.

What is your Myers Briggs personality type? ISTP

    What is your Enneagram type? 5w4 > 3w4 > 8w7
    Sx/sp

So what's it like being an ISTP and a Enneagram type 5w4?
I'm not sure how to answer that but it seems darn sweet to me.
I suppose as a 5w4 sx/sp I can be more sensitive and internally based than some (not all) other ISTPs. I do not come off ISTP-like to a good amount of people here and I'm totally cool with that. I still think ISTP fits me the best but I'm not 100% on it.

Do you think the different personality theories give an accurate description of you? Some do but many do not, I'm definitely not your stereotypical ISTP and I'm not a car "mechanic" our title is misleading.
I'm not a person who goes around fixing mechanical devices all the time. I'm more interested in the workings of say, a mind and how it works instead.
I'm not always "living in the moment", I usually think first before I do something.

    "
    - Factual, realistic, and impersonal.
    - Cool-headed, perceptive, and independent.
    - Quiet and observing, but audacious at the decisive moment.
    - Not afraid to go one-on-one with challenges that would intimidate others.
    - Detached towards others with little interest in directing or dominating them.
    "

^This is from celebritytypes and it is mostly accurate about me but I'm not just about the facts. I like to look beyond them sometimes and try to find other possibilities. I do enjoy abstract thinking, theories and philosophies.
I try incredibly hard to be realistic but it doesn't always happen.
I'm not "impersonal" if you are my friend, I will act and be different around you.

Which personality theory do you prefer, and why? I have not fully studied every personality theory as of yet so, I cannot say.

Do you use personality typing in the real world? It depends but for the most part I try not to go around typing people because it would take up too much of my precious time.

Has personality typing helped you in any way? Sort of, I've met some cool people and learned that there are more out there like me than I thought.

Do you prefer to associate yourself with certain types, and why? Yes, because I only like cool types (you know who you are).

How did you initially find your way to PersonalityCafe? Google, I was looking up information on MBTI and this forum popped up.

What made you join us? Curiosity.

Why did you choose "Wytch" as your username? I know I can come off as a witch/bitch to people at first but it doesn't bother me. I'm also into actual witches and "Witch" was taken.

What is the significance of your current avatar? Saturnian Devil found this picture for me and I liked it a lot. I tend to enjoy fantasy art and I have to relate to it in some way (if it's my avatar). I cannot express in words as to why exactly I like this picture.
I also usually choose red because my first avatar here was of Melisandre (GoTs)
and I prefer to keep her red theme going.

How about your signature? Just expressions of me :shrugs:

If you had to choose your favorite forum on PerC, which would it be? Probably the Entertainment Plaza.

What do you like most about PersonalityCafe? The variety, randomness, depths, humour and information.

What do you dislike most about PersonalityCafe? I am on it too much.

What is the most important thing you've learned here? MBTI, I suppose.

Do you have any advice for the community of PersonalityCafe? I'm really not sure what advice I could offer to them besides 'Do what you want' and "Party on".

If you could have any super power, what would it be? Teleportation but I could also enjoy controlling the elements.

What do you know now that you wish you'd known five years ago? Nothing, except I do wish I'd known a few people back then that I know now.

What do you believe is your greatest accomplishment at this point?

Tell us something about yourself that we don't already know.
I used to study Astrology, Tarot and Numerology. I'm fascinated by the supernatural, it'd be neat if there are otherworldly beings out there but I have never witnessed anything personally.
I like the Food Network and I'm addicted to lip-balms/glosses.

What is next for you? What are your plans and goals for the future? To make myself some breakfast, my work here is done.
To be able to see into the future and travel into the future. This way my plans and goals will be finished before I even get them started.

    Give us your parting words.
Wow, that took a long time to fill out. I sure hope I fixed all of my typos.
I highly commend anyone who reads through this entire questionnaire. Although I'll have to wonder why, I mean you must be very bored and I'm sorry for that.

& Thank you to whoever voted for me, I'm not sure why I was voted for but hey it's cool and I'm flattered.

It's funny, I always thought you seemed like an ISFP. Being a 5w4 Sx/Sp myself I can kinda relate to being misread though. ^^

    Lol, thanks guys

    @Blue Soul
there's a very good article about Sexual 5s and it does explain a lot.
If you every wanted to read it I can link you. ISFP may seem very similar to ISTP but the functions are too off base for me.
I may in fact use Fi (we all use every function after all) but leading with Fi? No.
    @Jakuri
Haha thank you, I have actually never lived in Europe or Canada but I do spell that way. It's weird I know.
    @AddictiveMuse
Hell yeah thanks don't forget my favourite one.
