What's great about these member spotlights is learning something new about these members I frequently see here on PerC! It is rather touching to read those warming things you said about your wife, and in all honesty, color me surprised that you were married to begin with and also in the process of moving to the States ^^

So not only congratulations to your spotlight here, a well earned one, but also, I wish you many, many years of a joyous marriage and safe/fun travels of where ever life takes you!!
Clyme and Stultum thanked this post.

Oh my gosh, congratulations @Clyme ! You definitely deserved this!

Two things I forgot to mention:

    1) Looks like @Clyme and I are trying to "switching places". I am a (Korean-)American studying in (and hoping to settle in) Canada while he's Canadian trying to move to the US.

    2) Forgot to mention past cute avatars and profile pics. I had to mention it after seeing the new animated Rilakkuma stickers in Line, which I believe you put as your profile picture before. And there is that cute pic in your sig.
    Clyme thanked this post.

    Well deserved recognition!

I certainly agree. It's very interesting. I'm glad you found those comments to be touching. Yeah, a lot of people are quite surprised by that. I live my life rather quickly, it seems. Anyhow, thank you very much for the kind words and the wishes. I wish you just the same.

    1. Ah, that is quite humorous. Well, I hope your immigration process goes smoothly. I know it can be quite a hassle altogether.

    2. I never had that as a profile picture, but I did have that as a past avatar, yes. Perhaps I will return to that sometime in the future. Additionally, for reference, the precious creatures in my signature are called Molang. ^^

    I. Indeed, it's a hassle, a lot of paperwork. I suppose one of the reasons you are trying to finish the degree quickly (finishing in 1.5 years or something right? that's intense) is to start with the process ASAP? I need to finish my current degree first to start on getting the permanent residence. Provided I am done with the two exams I need to pass (passed one of them already) before embarking on my thesis, four more "short" years in school ahead of me, thesis and so forth. Thanks for the luck, and the best of luck for you too. The USCIS unfortunately is not the most efficient bureaucracy, but such is bureaucracy. -_-

II. Good to know, thanks ^_^ I wouldn't be surprised if there are Line stickers for Molang too. They have lots of cute stickers like Rilakkuma.

    I. Yes, that certainly is one of the reasons. It's not to start the process though. I'm in the middle of it already. I'm able to immigrate because it's a spousal thing. Anyhow, yes, I do want to have my degree done around the time it clears. What are you studying? Thank you. Yeah, it isn't, but oh well.

II. There most likely are. ^^
