Family? a relationship? A place? social values? your country? Jobs / Careers? certain activities? a setting with familiar objects?

Just wondering how well you lot conform to stereotypes. e.g. feelers being more people orientated and therefore attaching an idea of home to close friends [/fail speculation]

personally, I'd say art museums because they keep me on an excited high for hours ;P

Nah, not quite. xD It'd take a long time to explain... but I like to listen to a song and make up an imaginary story to it. Maybe it'll involve singing around a campfire, snowboarding, flying over the mountains, being a fictional character, being an animal... it can be just about anything. I feel like I belong in those imaginary stories sometimes.

Family? Not really, but I'm comfortable enough with them not to feel out of place.

A relationship? Usually no, but my experiences in these haven't been particularly positive.

A place? The university library, period.

Social values? Objectivity, yet analyzing things on a case-by-case basis. Yet, I don't feel particularly good about it.

Your country? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA--- *cough* I apologize.

Jobs/careers? I believe I would belong with teachers, since I'm constantly trying to teach people around me. That said, other teachers might very well be more uncomfortable than my family, yet more comfortable than a relationship or my country.

Certain activities? Thinking on philosophy, writing an essay on a topic I enjoy, playing Minecraft with someone, etc. These are activities I feel best in.

A setting with familiar objects? I want to go out into exotic settings and experience them, but at the end of the day, I like to have something/someone familiar to fall back to.

Ah. Well it doesn't necessarily have to fit within my prompts. As to that last one, would camaraderie do the trick?

Precisely. In my ideal relationship with someone, I look for a 'comrade' that is familiar and will be there with me whenever I make my forays into these other environments. That said, I'd rather not drag them in with me if it's not where they want to be going. I'd rather we both be looking in the same direction than at different places.

I love cafes. Being at a cafe, eating a scone and drinking some coffee, writing some sort of essay or book or whatever on a laptop or perhaps in a notebook... that's a good place. I also like libraries. Of course, I do need to be around people. I would also love being someplace where I can just watch people. Yes, I am a people watcher.

And yes, I do need family and friends.

Ideally, I'd love for the world and humans that inhabit it to be perfect. Haha. ^_^

    ISTP

    Family
    Indoor places (I'm an insider)
Certain social values (ones that do more good than harm)
I'm patriotic but it has become harder
I'd like to work with games
The setting I'm in doesn't have to be familiar as long as it's a city (with the home in a suburban neighborhood) or even a country/city combination.

The only place I have ever really been 100% comfortable was when I rented an apartment on my own. I used to think of it as being my own superman palace of solace, because I would come home and just be able to read, watch documentaries or whatever I wanted. That being said, it was also the worst place, because I found it frightfully easy to simply lock myself away from everyone and would only get interactions from going to uni or work and/or the rare pub visit with friends.

Other than that, I would describe myself as a social loner, because I feel comfortable enough when Im with people.. But I also love (Sometimes more so) spending time on my own watching documentaries or reading. So therefore id say my "place" can be almost anywhere and is more dependant on my mood (sometimes I want to go to the pub and be surrounded by new people and other times im happy to locked up on my own conducting research) than being a static place.
