    I manage a site
    The site is orderly and aesthetically pleasing and clean
    My office bit of both. I organize all company documents etc as needed and file, however the workspace I actually sit directly in is a cluster fuck

    I gotta have things surface clean and some order but I can be in private chaos

    I don't have a permanent desk at work, so my desk is always cleaned off at the end of the work day, since anyone could be sitting at it the following day.

    I do, however, have a drawer I can lock my belongings in. The drawer is pretty organized. My computer desktop is also organized, and I have at least 15 rules set up on my email to organize incoming emails for me (I counted one week. I got over 700 emails in a one week period, so having an organized email is a must. Easier to weed out all the unimportant emails, or mass-sent emails that aren't relevant to my work). I have between 2-6 documents saved on my desktop at any time. I leave them up until I know I don't need them anymore, then I delete them completely, or simply remove them from my desktop.

    If there are lysol wipes available, I like to wipe down my desk when I come back to it after my weekend off, because I don't know if the person who was sitting there was clean or sick or what.

    Wow! I am madly impressed. lysol wipes?! genius move.My brain has about 700 incoming emails/ week and none of them are organized. You amaze me, person. Well done. We need folk like you.

    This sounds somewhat familiar. I love to keep my classroom in order and aesthetically pleasing. The students need it. At times it can get a ittle sloppy, but nothing a half hour after school can't fix. My own desk, however, is a war zone. Utter chaos. I 'deep clean' it once every couple of months, when I can no longer fit my coffee cup on the table, or if I forget what colour the desk originally was. My coworkers must think I'm a mess. They're right.

    INFP with ADD. I don't work (I probably should by now maybe) but sometimes when i'm not antisocial - well my mother works at a community college so sometimes I help students (weird for me because i'm young)
    But I get my own little personal desk with a little office that connects to my moms and I manage to mess up both rooms at the end of the day. Papers everywhere, pens on the floor, it just looks like there was a fight and nobody won.
    So most of my time is filled grading some papers and trying to find those papers. Getting really distracted etc.

    Im still a university student, well not for long, so if its about my workspace its mainly my desk at home and that is more organised lately than it was in the past, because i tend to move my things around really frequently, or have a friend come over and use the desk.
    But thats just my desk, when it comes to shelfs i have to search for half an hour to get to a book that was supposed to be in front of me. Also my home gets tidied according to how frequent home-visits are, if its an exam-period, when im staying mainly at home me and myself alone two things tend to happen:
    1) Im too bored to study so im just thinking and analysing about stuff through my "si" while tidying around (that happens more rarely right now)
    2) Im studying so much that when i take a break for whatever reasons my mood is not really into caring for such trivial matters. Im just going to watch a video, or anything thats gonna make me relax instead.

    My living space generally ranges from "good enough" to "controlled chaos". I'm kind of fanatical about keeping my work area tidy, and have a specific layout/ system that keeps things functional, streamlined, and clean. In fact, I just looked at my desk a minute ago, and there's a spiral notebook with two pens on it, along with a new anime poster on top of a laptop, and a thesaurus, and that's the messiest I've seen it get in a while.

    Most of my messes have to do with space/ storage issues, as I own lots of awkward items, and the apartment floor plan is kinda wonky. Lots of wasted potential of space in here. Plenty of upward space for the tall items we don't own, not enough outward space for the wide or not safely stacked. *Smh*

    Yeah. There's usually at least one container floating around the office somewhere. It's an open office design, and you never know who sat at your desk last, so -especially during flu seasons- lysol wipes are a god-send.

    See, I have some coworkers who have like upwards of 5000 unread emails just sitting in their inbox, and I don't know how someone can see all that unopened mail and not check it. Emails, notifications on my phone, chat message pop-ups. I have to click on them. Honestly, I think I have to keep my work-space organized because I'm easily distracted. If I have a messy space, then I'm focused on all the little things on desk, or the unchecked emails, or the crumbs from someone else's lunch, instead of being focused on my actual work. By keeping things tidy and clean, that's less things to distract me from my job.

    My house on the other hand, since I don't have to worry about remaining focused, can be a complete disaster area sometimes haha
