Fe= Pretty self-explanatory. Good at understanding how people tick, easily picks up on other people's emotions.
Se and Si=good at picking up on subtle cues from the other person. Si is better at recognizing when details align with patterns they've seen before, but might get stuck if they don't have enough "data" to go off of.
Ni=similar to Si, good at recognizing patterns. In my experience, Ni predictions tend to be either stunningly insightful, or completely miss the mark.

    Worst functions: Fi>Ne>Te>Ti
Fi= good at understanding people who are similar to them, bad at understanding people who are different from them
Ne= too in their heads to notice if someone has a crush on them
Te and Ti= do I really need to explain this one?

So, I would say ENFJ or ESFJ would be best at detecting if someone has a crush on them.
Fe is a decision-making process. Ne and Se are information gathering Ne-Fi together are looking for patterns in feelings. I swear--- what percentile of PerC knows ENFPs in real life? Looking for patterns in people is what a ENFP is highly tuned to do. I am highly aware of what people in my environment are feeling at all times. And I wonder if any introverts would disagree that extroverts know a sheer number of enough people to truly compare all this.
Eh, whatever... I wonder what the other ENFPs would say.

    I am.
Looking into the eyes once will do for me. I'll know.

[ related to how developed your intuition is, not what type you are =) ]

Well I would like to believe it's INFJ too (or NFs in general). But I don't know. I can get a good sense that someone likes me. Whether they like-like me though can be a bit more tricky.
If I do get that sense, internally I'm wondering "Why? That's a little weird" and then I tell myself to stop being arrogant for believing they think such a thing, at least without getting any verbal confirmation. But once my gut tells me something it's hard to ignore. :\
It's one of those things where I absolutely appreciate someone whose direct with me.

Based on what's already been said though, I'd say ENFP is one of the best at this. Eeeek, now they'll find out my true feelings. x//-//x

Alesha, I know plenty of ENFPs who are responsive to other people's feelings and very empathetic in general! I was only speaking in terms of hypotheticals, not saying "100 percent of ESFJs will be good at detecting people's crushes and every INTJ on the planet will suck at it". That being said, I do think that the average Fe-dom will be better at this than the average Fi-dom, just because Fe cognition tends to prioritize information about interpersonal dynamics. Since Fe users want to make decisions that maintain social harmony, they require objective information about other people and their feelings/group dynamics. Fi can be good at understanding people when combined with Se/Si though (or at least in my experience, I rely more on Si than Ne in social situations). Anyways, all of this speculation only applies for the example of "who's best at telling if someone has a crush on them", it's not supposed to be serious :P

My "sources": I know around 4 "confirmed" ENFPs, about 3-4 ESFPs, around 4-5 ISFPs, and like, 15 INFPs I swear to god (most of my friends are English majors, hence the skewed sample size, lol). My point is, yes I do know quite a few Fi-users IRL (Also, ENFPs rock, they're one of my favorite types).

Thanks.... lol.... I don't know why I'm defending this so hard-core except that I KNOW. I know enough ENFJs, ESFPs, ESFJs.... they don't see what I see as Ne-Fi dom....and THEY know it. My Fe dom roommates always came to me asking for my insights on this. I think I'm defending the 1 thing I feel I am most useful at.....LOL... which is not too useful at my age. lol

    Also, I don't know why I have a crust on me either......heeheehee.
Okay.... going back to whatever I was doing.... oh yeah, exploring romantic relationships in ISTPs for no reason except for ^^ all that. =)
