I pegged him as ENTJ originally, but ESTJ works just as well. I felt people were very biased on typing him due to politics, and it became a proxy war for the worst type. I seen many list him as ESTP, but that is very very wrong. He clearly is a judgeing type.

He could be a narcesistic ESTP with enormous ego, you don't want to look undetermined or weak as a president
so just make any judgement take all risks, all judgements are made everything goes haywire.
Very consistently ESTP I'd say..Though I love the type itself I think they're very fun to be around,
this man is very missed up and there are many factors affecting his personality.
Its not fair to deduce a "worst-type" from him :|

Very obviously ESTP. This ESTP I know loves him. Acts just like him. If you happen to know any less than mature ESTPs personally you can see the resemblance to Trump quite easily. ESTJ would imply he pays attention to details and respects hierarchy (absolutely not) and ENTJ would imply that he has some plan when he quite obviously does not. It very much is a stretch to peg him as Si/Ni...

I'm glad someone finally posted this because there's never been a thread about it, right?

Probably a fucked up ESTP. Saw a weakness in the system and made a play for it. There wasn't a long term plan to get into office. Just an opportunity. Most ESTP's are good at spotting a weakness/flaw in a person/machine/system and taking full advantage of it. The GOP were too busy sabotaging other candidates. He wouldn't have had a chance at running in the first place if that flaw hadn't been waiting. We're nothing if not opportunists and operate more tactically than strategically. He had help with the strategy.

ESTP. Very spontatenous. Uses tert- Fe to come up with ideas and slogans that will appeal to his supporters. Doesn't care much for detail like Si user would.

He loves hierarchy, as long as he's on top, and actually has shown a fondness for authoritarian regimes in both policy and attitude.

ESTJs are generally very active and are too focused on immediate results to get caught up in details.

Agree that he's not ENTJ, but ESTJs are not long range planners. They are early deciders and plan in the near future (J), but they are not future-focused (S). People are confusing a S stuff for P stuff I think.

Planned spontaneity. He makes a decision ahead of time, and then acts like he's in the process of deciding late to put on a show. He had plenty of time to practice it on his show, even if it never was a preference.

I believe it to be a near certainty for example that he made an agreement with departing Supreme Court justice Kennedy to nominate Kavanaugh ahead of time, yet he acted like it was a reality show and kept people on their seat by holding interviews with others and acting as if they had a chance of being the nominee, so he could make his big exciting announcement, as if he finally decided on Kavanaugh. Zero spontaneity but it makes him look like a late decider, and he does this to entertain.

Also lightly irrelevant but he's an absolute sucker for pretty women. For people saying ESTJ/ENTJ - I really doubt he is a Te dom.... like really doubt it. Now, Se dom - I totally see that.
