MBTI+: Interest-Orientation Temperaments (Ideas, Appearance, Action)

Different people have different interests, or areas where they are more concerned about, which are detailed as follows:

Ideas and knowledge: people with this interest-orientation temperament live in a world of ideas and thoughts. They are interested in new ways of thinking or new perspectives. People with this temperament are also more likely to want others to listen to them, or convince others to their point of view (power), especially when they were younger.

Appearance and individuality: people with this interest-orientation temperament value individual differences and opinions. They seek resolutions through dialogue. People with this temperament are more likely to care about their appearance or social status (respect), especially when young.

Action or doing, and harmony: people with this interest-orientation temperament value taking action, and continuously working through difficulties. They seek harmony with others, and with the environment. People with this temperament are more like to care about getting what they want, or achieving what they desire ("money" or resources), especially when young.

I'm having a hard time seeing how these categories are useful or realistic. People who are interested in ideas and knowledge are also interested in power? The people most interested in physical appearance and social status also respect individuality? Seems like the exact opposite of how personality traits are distributed in reality.

I can sort of understand how this relates to the races, like White, Yellow, and Black. Yellow people (East-Asians) value new perspectives and ideas, like the Mandate of Heaven, Communism, and Confucianism. White people (Western Europeans) value individuality, as demonstrated through Greek Democracy, the number of country-states, and their high-fashion clothing, art, and architecture. The Black people (Africans) value taking action, and working in harmony with man and environment, with respect for animals, natural resources, and communal upbringing of family-children.

Thank you for your interest. I don't have a test for this temperaments and the MBTI+ system, so it's mostly done through self-reflection, observing others, and seeing how you are relative to other people. If you want, you can private message me a photo, and I can help you determine the Interest-orientation temperament, as well as other temperaments in the MBTI+ system.

Here are examples of the Interest Temperament, in regards to "races", which is better reflected in the collective-culture (Asian culture has more respect for philosophical ideas-awareness, like reincarnation, enlightenment, Confucianism, Communism; European culture has more respect for individuality-responsibility, freedom-independence, salvation; African culture has greater respect for harmony-truth between man and environment, promoting joyful living, and the communal upbringing of children)

    People used in the examples:
    Sison (East Asian) - Ideas-Power-Awareness
    Johnny Kelley (Caucasion-American) - Individuality-Respect-Responsibility
Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot (African) - Doing&Action-Harmony&Wealth-Truth&Belonging
