There is no sources for the materials used to draw this chart in order to put back this chart result in context.

    Because of this :

"Notes: The compatibility above is based on relationship satisfaction surveys as well as type compatibility."

    And the following :

"Keep in mind, by its very name, this is meant to be a simplified chart for quick reference. Every relationship is
unique. A good match on this chart doesn't necessarily mean a good match in real life, nor does a bad match
mean an otherwise healthy relationship is doomed.
Do not rely solely on this chart for making decisions on existing relationships, whether romantic or in the
workplace. If you want to better understand a particular relationship, I strongly recommend reading deeper
on each of the two types before jumping to any conclusion."

This chart is fun to be used in a recreative way is my though on this compatibility chart.

I find it a bit strange that there are 8 types who have several very bad matches, and 4 that have none. As an INTP I've never before seen a generalization that shows my type as a good match with more people than types do on average. Aren't we supposed to be the weirdos with no relationships?

Also, the one sided match is a bit of a mystery. How is it a match at all? One likes the other but doesn't get liked back? Which is which?
Agreed, its a bit strange. Just found it somewhere on the internet. There's a similar one to this, but I think it's based on socionics matches?

    oh whoops wtf? ^^thats a sad/disappointed face

I really like ISTJs so I guess this part of the chart is right.

Disagree. To pair up an Ni type with an Ne type as being most ideal seems ... counter-intuitive ... to me completely. It's not that I don't like Ne types; they're great. I can not imagine myself happy in a romantic relationship with an extravert. I need my home environment to be calm and quiet most of the time for me to be happy.

This is just my own personal preference, though. I can see arguments that opposite types help to become more "well-rounded" or whatever. It's a good idea in theory for me, but I cannot share space all the time with a person who isn't temperamentally reclusive and calm about human interaction.

    I suppose I just lucked out with @hornpipe2 . : )

    It is frankly terrible!
A summary of how following stereotypical ideas and memeish categories will make your life into hell.

In my opinion the only truly accurate and functioning chart is the one that socionics use.

This chart makes me look amiable - not opposed to that.

But I question the veracity of its conclusions.

Total fucking bullshit. I get along best with ISTPs and ISTJs. ENFPs make my skin crawl if I have to be around them for too long.
