You know you're an intuitive when you are likely able rip apart my crappy attempt at metaphors lol
I guess both Se and Ne seek variety in experiences. The type of experiences differ, though. Se is in touch with the physical world and wants to experience things directly. Ne, in contrast, is in touch with the imagination and wants experiences to stimulate it.

And as for my attempt at a metaphor, maybe this would work: Se and Ne are both travelers. But Se is the traveler of the Earth, while Ne is the traveler of the mind. (If it makes you feel better, it took me a little bit to think of this. )

EDIT: Besides, I'm kinda trying to prove to myself that I am an intuitive.

Me too, I never questioned, you are lucky you figured it out early in your life though. I had a complete turn around just recently, it's weird how it happened, must be around the time my Te started kicking in.

You know you're an intuitive when you're way ahead of everyone else in questioning religious "philosophy".

Well, I mean honestly, they were telling me bible stories, and I had to go, "Wait... the snake could talk HOW?" and "...The ark would not be large enough for two of every 'kind' of animal. Get real."

That all might explain why I actually got some Ne in my functions quiz results since I like both

Well it's a good one. Much more direct, perfect for a metaphor-friendly sensor like myself lol. Don't worry I'm still trying to prove to myself I'm an extravert and figuring out why I like communicating in metaphors, or at least try to.

You know your an intuitive when you can easily kick a sensor's ass in coming up with good metaphors like above lol

I know I wasn't paying much attention to that stuff during catechism class because I don't remember ANYTHING they taught lol, maybe my brain shut off that part knowing it was pointless and unbelievable, but more likely passive unquestioning. Boy am I glad I woke up. Freedom! Sanity! Gotta love it

You know you're an intuitive when even as a child you have more sense than your catechism or Sunday school teachers.

When sensors just don't share your enthusiasm on theories and ideas. They kind of nod at you and smile just to keep you happy, at which point you assume you didn't explain it clearly enough and try to clarify the fantastic discovery you just had.

When you always want to make shortcuts in your activities because repetition bores you think isn't efficient.

Maybe you have very well-developed Ni?

Anyway, to actually contribute something here...You know you're an intuitive when you post in this thread more than once. Except if you're Revy2Hand.

I wish! It'd have saved me a buttload of trouble if I did. If it wasn't so early I'm sure I'd have lmfo, not at your suggestion, but check this out from my last cognitive functions test:
    extraverted Intuiting (Ne) ************************ (24.8)
    average use
    introverted Intuiting (Ni) *************** (15.2)
    unused

It's my lowest overall as well. I'm supposed to have inferior Ni though, and believe me it doesn't exist and my Te is just kicking in. Eventually...lol (I hope ), hmm maybe that's why the metaphors don't work out just right.

You know you're an intuitive when...uh nevermind, it's way too early to think of one sorry, check back later
