I find there are more INTP men in an East Asian country like China, and more INTJ men in a western country like the United States. This probably has to do with genetics, specifically, a form of founder effect. It also relates to the functions of Fe-Ti being more prevalent in China, and Te-Fi more evident in the west. The differences between the two cognitive functions affect the language (there are more intonations, or sound styles, in Chinese than English, for example), as well as modes of thinking, like how the Western culture holds in higher regard for values and passion, while Eastern culture holds in higher esteem for unity and logic based studies, like math and science. Interestingly, Te-Fi has an advantage with transmitting ideas and new ways of thinking, which might explain the rapid advances in science and technology after the discovery of the Americas.
I have written earlier about "Feeling" in the East and "Thinking" in the West, though this probably has more to do with Western culture being more extroverted thinking-introverted feeling, while the Eastern culture is more extroverted Feeling-introverted thinking.
What are you guys' thoughts or opinions? Thank you.
