Do you go on binges of emotional videos just to make yourself cry?

Fuckkkkkkkk I'm on one of those binges where it's 3:00AM and I should be sleeping, but here I am watching videos that will make me cry because they're so inspirational/surprising/amazing, like where the underdog comes back and shocks everyone. I love when people get recognizex. like this video:

(THIS IS HER NOW BTW )

    Or this video:

I love watching all of the judges and the pricks in the crowd who didn't have an ounce of belief in her get absolutely fucked. The way she starts walking off the stage tells all.
They can all go suck it, because she is absolutely amazing. The smug people in the crowd shaking their heads and scoffing can go get fucked. Also, I truly believe that she sang this song because it had personal meaning to her, not just because she liked the song. The w

This is the dream she dreamt, and it comes true.

This is her singing with her role model btw.

Or this song. You can tell how fucking dismissive everyone is because of how he looks. They can all go get fucked too, because this music, to me, makes me feel amazing.

I just. I could listen to these all day. They make me feel SO FUCKING MUCH. I LOVE IT. I NEED IT.

I think you love music as much as I do! Do you love to sing? I do! And some others of us too. @DrEquine you are officially invited to the Music Game thread (likely below this thread somewhere) the topic right now is outer space (Unless it changed last night/this morning) and basically the point is to find as many interesting songs about a subject and share those interesting songs as much as you like. Sometimes I post a very popular song just to get it out of the way or to show how well it fits the subject, but most of us like to put somewhat eclectic songs up... or just ones we think fit the subject. For some reason it’s so interesting to see music this way and see what everyone comes up with.

All music lovers welcome, those of us participating really love this thread as far as I can tell— I love it. We choose someone else to pick the subject when a subject seems exhausted (kind of passing the torch).

Yes! I don’t really enjoy sad crying, but happy crying feels so good. And tying in music makes it that much sweeter. A couple of favorites:

LOL No, I don't do that. Binge cry? I'd get distracted & start singing along & forget to cry.

Eh, it's not even really for crying. It's more that I need to feel emotions.

Ummmm... Yeah, my ENFP husband, INFP daughter, myself, and my ENFJ sister are all quite guilty of staying up too late and watching theses types of videos. We cry at animals being too sweet or cute too. On vacation in Colorado, we got to talking about sad things and as soon as we got to the Seymore episode of Futurama, my sister, daughter, and I were all bawling in a parking lot. I do have many songs or homeless street artist that instantly make me cry with their talent. I also watch certain shows in order to provoke tears when I know I'm due for a great cry. I'll post what I can still find. Overall, yes, it's a normal thing.

@Windblownhair Sister Act and the music always brings my heart and eyes to tears.

Ricky Gervais Derek: It gets even much more happy/ sad, but it's beautiful in the expression of humanity. It's worth to watch the entire show. I didn't want to give too much away by posting clips. Definitely, one I watch when needing to express a build up of feelings.

Leave it to me to start this series when my husband was traveling for work and I was home... Another great show. Afterlife. Worth watching.

Oh, yes! I know that episode all too well. My INFP loved it so much ( she always had a love / hate relationship with the ESTP Bender ) that we had to buy the song for her to sleep to. Happy you brought it up, because Futurama was such an amazing thought provoking and emotional show. I loved the ending, and of course, cried...

@Windblownhair Ohhhh, yes! Sister act and the music does it for me every time!
Yes! Futurama is such an unexpected tearjerker. The baby Bender episode gets me too

I mostly cry at the idea of people doing huge feats of bravery/self sacrifice and just being an all around inspiration to all around them!

Omg, yes I do this and I seriously don’t know why. I actually very recently went through a bunch of clips of saddest scenes of fresh prince. The part where his father leaves him again, aw man the feels. The thing is, after I experience it I rewind to experience it again. I’m NOT as masochist but I don’t know why I kind of like knowing I can cry at those things. Maybe trying to feel more and be less robotic? I really don’t know.
