I want to try everything that isn't particularly addictive. I'd try weed, shrooms and Molly only once. I rarely drink.

Even meth, cocaine and heroin? All super addictive...

Have been taking ecstasy/mdma since1988 and its pretty much for me, mostly been good fun. That being said I don't want to advocate it for anyone else, because I don't how they will react.
Im pretty sure its not additive, though don't take my word for it. Can it kill you, it has been known for some people, there's always a risk. At best, your just going to have a lovely night, especially if around good friends/people. For me its just good party drug, and I did like to party a lot when I was younger.
Don't expect it to make you some kind of a better person, same goes for psychedelics , if that is your reason for wanting to try it.
Has it done damage to me over the years, more than likely.

No, never! I tried smoking regular cigarettes thinking that it will calm it down during the war in my previous country, but it did not. That was it for me. I cannot tolerate alcohol at all. One and half a beer would make me incredibly depressed. Thank god I do not have addictive personality like my father who was heavy drinker/smoker for the majority of his life. He had to stop both since COPD and cardiovascular disease is not fun for him.
What I gathered from experiences of others and by watching documentaries is that ecstasy can have unpredictable consequences mostly because one cannot control what is happening to them while under its influence and second one does not know how much impure MDMA tablet is. I saw cases when it takes just one use of it for persons to lose their life. It is a combo amphetamine/methamphetamine and a hallucinogen (mescaline). People who run high on anxiety would have a very different reaction to these than those who do not.

I've been told that the intimacy and love you feel for other human beings is so heightened when you're on it, that it's just an amazing feeling. The idea of being that intimate with someone on a spiritual level just sounds so enticing and wonderful, and I want to try it sometime.

I doubt I ever will, I've never done any drugs and barely drink. Just a dream, I suppose.

The FDA has called MDMA a 'breakthrough' drug for PTSD. So there's definitely therapeutic potential. In a MAPS phase 2 trial, 68% of participants with PTSD in the full-dose group no longer met the criteria for PTSD after taking MDMA. That is remarkable.

MDMA is an empathogen (psychoactive drug that produces experiences of emotional communion, oneness, relatedness, emotional openness, and empathy). I don't think it's chemically that similar to psychedelics such as psilocybin mushrooms and LSD. There's also a lot of studies from Johns Hopkins, NYU, etc. using psilocybin to treat depression and end-of-life cancer distress.

Illegal or legal, all drugs have side effects, even tylenol (tylenol is the number cause of liver failure in America). All drugs have potential for abuse (well except for psychedelics apparently, they have low levels of toxicity and are non-addictive). I'd be more worried about the quality of the drug, to be honest. People should always test what they're taking.

For days after using ecstasy, you will feel like all the life is sucked out of you, and like you don't feel anything for anyone.
That's unfortunate to hear... I'm thinking the quality of the drug makes a big difference. I read somewhere that ecstasy is the number one drug cut with all sorts of things. Interestingly, in the MAPS clinical trials, people reported very few to none aftereffects. It's also not common knowledge that women are affected differently by ecstasy than men, we're more susceptible to the negative effects and more at risk for hyponatremia.

I've too often seen the negative impact drugs have had on the lives of others to ever consider taking them myself.

What a shame. I'm thinking I'm an ESFP. I really want to try them but I've never done anything illegal up until now so why start now. I'll stick to drinking till I'm giggly and happy like I did the other night haha.

I don't have a problem with marijuana or peyote, but I'd certainly recommend people stay away from non-prescribed synthetic drugs like those mentioned in the OP. There are too many people dying before their time from drug abuse in our country for me to think otherwise. I've seen it in my area and my own extended family. Drinking tolerance varies from person to person in each ethnicity, but if you can drink socially I believe that's fine.

Drank 8 shots of whiskey at the bar the other night. Doesn't affect me too much. No nausea or blackout and no hangover. And tons of fun.

I'll be real. I'm at the bar drinking and someone offered me a joint so I took a hit. I'm having so much fun holy shit. But I'm very out of it
