Have any of you ever wanted to try ecstasy/MDMA/Molly?

I hope this topic is allowed, but it is related to this.

I've been told that the intimacy and love you feel for other human beings is so heightened when you're on it, that it's just an amazing feeling. The idea of being that intimate with someone on a spiritual level just sounds so enticing and wonderful, and I want to try it sometime.

I doubt I ever will, I've never done any drugs and barely drink. Just a dream, I suppose.

Nope. I think I'm odd enough without throwing other things into the mix.
But I do have a friend (xNFP) who loves dancing, and she has been quite open about enjoying the feeling of using MDMA while surrounded by other moving people. It actually sounds sort of nightmarish to me. She says she only does it a couple times a year, but I worry about her for it.

To me, it dancing with people on MDMA sounds like it would be amazing. I personally think I would love it. My buddy said he could hook me up with some, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt I would ever take him up on that offer. I'm a good boy

He told me he needs to see how I am on MDMA.

I tried it as a teen... so here's the thing. It might be a nice few hours, but you need to have a strong constitution... because the aftermath is not pleasant, not for anyone.
For days after using ecstasy, you will feel like all the life is sucked out of you, and like you don't feel anything for anyone. This can cause harm to relationships and self-esteem.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

So my advice is that if you choose to use it, don't go looking at it as if it's adding something to your life. In the end, you'll pay for it, one way or another, and that can be very disappointing. But if you're just curious about it as an experience, and willing to be careful & safe (especially about WHO is going to be around you during use), then you'll probably be fine.
The important thing to remember in the aftermath is that you have to treat yourself well - positive self-talk, patience, and DON'T turn to taking anything else to try to fill the emptiness. You have to let your body equalize on it's own, there's no quick fix.

A very close friend, has tried acid recently and was raving about it.

He said it's changed him, and he has so much more understanding and love for other people now.

I don't know, he seems the same old arsehole to me, so I'm not biting.

I honestly like my brain too much to mess with it, it's the only part of me I'm truly proud of. So, ef it, I'd rather not know.

In truth I don't think using or not using makes a person "good" or "not good"... it's more a question of rolling the dice and risking the consequences. And I think every person rolls the dice in some way or other, so I hope I haven't come off as judging you (or her). I think perceivers in general can be seduced by the idea of new experiences... just try to put some contingency plan in place if you must experiment, in terms of being with safe people in a controlled environment.

He told me he needs to see how I am on MDMA.
Tell him he needs to see how you are, period ;)
You seem like a decent person without being on anything, and if he is really your friend his appreciation of you will not be dependent on you experimenting, nor will he pressure you.

Oh no, he definitely is my friend.
He said I'm crazy/off the walls (in a good way) enough as is without drugs and that me on them is probably a recipe for fun times lol

Well, if I must think back to the late 90's and early 2000's...
Then, yeah, I took some MDMA with a group of friends ( a few times ) and my ENFP boyfriend ( husband, now. ) We were all usually at a friend's place with good music and nothing, but time and youthfulness. It was a lot of fun. Surprisingly, I didn't really experience the low levels most claim afterwards. Really good pot I'm sure helped with the following days. We all did dance and experience the feel goods. It just never seemed to me as amazing as I was told. Perhaps the strength or something wasn't that pure? I took different kinds during different times, so it's odd all the experiences were similarly good, but not amazing.

If you'd like some advice, I'd go for trying shrooms vs. MDMA. Overall, they were much more fun, natural, and waaay less risky. I laughed so hard, hallucinated a very tiny bit, and ended the evening one on one with my ENFP having the most enlightening, intellectually stimulating, and beautiful conversations of my lifetime. Mushrooms, hands down was a better way to bond with people and nature. Mushrooms even have shown some benefits towards depression.

Like you said, though, you more than likely aren't going to try MDMA? Just curious? With anything, be careful, be educated, and use in moderation. The things I tried were probably different than what's out there, today. You're talking, almost 20 years ago. If you do try anything, I recommend starting off really small and give it time to see how it affects you. Overall, do your own research! I would not leave this decision up to the advice you get from people online. Everyone is different and every experience is different.

    * Let us know how it goes, though. *

I just asked my buddy if he could get ahold of shrooms for me...molly kind of scares me...

He seems to have experience with psychodelics, and him (ISFP), I (ENFx)and my other friend (ISFJ, so the mom friend) are going to a resort thing about 100 miles from where we live for a night or two...I figured that I could try it there with some support if they're cool with it.

Iíve tried weed before unsure if that counters into anything

However I had studied drugs and its effect and I can provide information upon what Iíve observed from the people in my life - my isfp best guy friend got addicted to meth back in hs( 17-20) heís been clean of everything for 14 years ( any type of drugs including Tylenol ) so I have an opportunity of observing him. My istp partner have tried shroom before and had a really bad trip- I was so annoyed

So here goes - Iíve never tried these but I know a handful of people who have

if choosing between xtc and shroom I think molly will give you a better trip, more so if itís pure - it makes you feel happy - everything feels good and you kinda love everyone there is around you
Shroom brings you to a different universe - imagine walking into a dream- a totally different realm - if youíre easily anxious the trip will throw you off big time

I donít advice doing any drugs but weed relaxes the mind and make food taste super good ( weed is not illegal in my state )
