    Questions, constant questions?

Hello my interesting intuitive feeling friends,

I find that I tend to question everything, or rather most things. I'll look at a blue container of soap and ask myself, "Why is the container blue? Is their some kind of significance? Am I more inclined to feel a certain a emotion that would make me more likely to buy this soap when exposed to this colour?" "Why do you have unspoken social ques and why are they needed?"

So the question I purpose to you is this: Do you constantly question things, go into a "deep" amount of questioning, or do you not question the world around you very much? Do you question my excessive questioning? Or question the amount of times I've typed out question in this comment about questioning?

Yes, all the time. When it comes to products you can bet that the marketing team made the container blue for a reason. It calms people. I usually get myself frustrated by asking questions that don't really have any clear cut answers, which drives me nuts!

I wonder why people who clearly don't like kids have children, and then spend the rest of their lives complaining about them.

I wonder why politicians lie to us.

I wonder how anyone could NOT believe in alien life when we live in such a vast universe.

I wonder how anyone could take the bible literally. I'm sure it's a great story with great values but to take it literally seems silly.

I wonder why EA continues to make new "Sims" games without fixing bugs so that each game ends up screwing up somehow and having to be reinstalled. So much lost time.

I wonder why people think that college is necessary for everyone.

I wonder why people judge others based on ethnicity, sexual preference, economic status...anything really.

I wonder why it's a bad thing to be an idealist and to dream big and not be satisfied with a life of monotonous office work.

I wonder why I was born in a country where people are expected to work 60+ hours per week. And I wonder who actually ENJOYS that and who would want to live a life that they don't enjoy?

I wonder why so many people fall victim to social conditioning and DON'T question things.

I wonder why children in school are taught to sit still, don't ask questions and sure as hell NEVER question authority. What's wrong with being a freethinker?

But then I remember that we're all different and there's probably someone else out there who questions all of the crazy things I do.

What are more of your questions? I like questions

Yes! All the time. I also like to ask how whenever possible. Why, and how?

Just out of curiosity, do you ask "why" because you feel the need to know? Do you have to know "why" before you do a task given to you by someone? Or is it just fun to ask?

Well technically all three but not all at once. If I am fascinated with something I want to know everything about it. If I have to some kind of task (such as volunteering for a cause or taking a class) I ask myself "Why should I do this." Oh, and yes, I also do it because It's fun.

I like to ask tons of questions. Why and how things are the way they are, questions about people, life, love. I really just like to know stuff.

You seem to have very strong Ne. And it's on overdrive.

I'm the same way though. I'm always asking questions. This reminds me of a thread I started a couple of weeks back: "Ne on overdrive". But yeah, I can't even look at any advertisement or packaging without having the exact thought process you've described. There's no way most people ask themselves this many questions.

    All questions, all the time.

My favorite thing to question when I was growing up were the senses: Is what I see as 'red' what everyone sees as red? Is what I feel as cold really what some people feel as hot, but we just both call it 'cold' because that's what we've learned? What do animals hear when they hear human speech?

And on and on and on. There are never adequate answers.

Here's an NT encouraging us NFs.

Questions are a beautiful thing. Wonder is even more beautiful. If you can't live with wonder, if you can only do things and like things because somehow they'll be good for you...you are a vulture.
