I got 18, but I also score really low on the EQ test. I process sensory information pretty sharply, and I do get overwhelmed easily. But it has nothing to do with emotions. I mean, I can read people's emotions very well. I think it is linked to mirror neurons.
I consider myself as a ?highly? sensitive person with a big cognitive filter and the ability to handle properly what goes through the filter... well, most of the time. So, my score is quite low (5). Neuroticism has definitely a huge influence on the result of the test... but, when I read the term "highly sensitive person", I'm not really convinced that neuroticism should have that much impact. Typically, someone who practice meditation regularly will reduce its score when taking Aron's test... so meditation will make people less sensitive? I don't think so.

Won't even take the test, that sure ain't me lmao
I scored 25 on the HSP questionnaire. I'm curious if those with learning disabilities involving processing speed (information input/output rate) have a tendency to possess HSP characteristics, or if it's merely a coincidence.
