If I can make freelance developing work out for me, I could basically work for anyone from any corner of the world so long as I have a laptop and an internet connection.

I would make it a point to learn the language of the place I wanted to stay at first before staying there, which isn't a chore for me since I love languages. Being able to make local friends and eat street food or watch a movie in a different language with them would be far more rewarding an experience than taking selfies of myself with some monument you see everywhere in travel brochures.

There is no "I would like to travel a lot more if I can afford it" option, so I didn't vote.
    Same!!!!!

I like travelling but then I also don't. I love road trips and the sense of freedom that comes with them but I detest airplanes and long haul travel.

I love traveling and living in different places. I want to see as much of the world as I can and experience all the little differences of cuisine, language, culture, buildings, smells, etc. The only places I definitely wouldn't want to travel to (besides unsafe areas like war zones, of course) are countries where women are treated much differently from men: I have no desire to visit the Middle East, etc.

I mainly travel to get out in the wilderness (or close to it). I live in a city and I really need to get out of it a couple times a year. I've never been attracted to travelling to other large cities/capitals or areas that are traditionally popular amongst tourists. Mainly because I want peace and quiet, and connecting to natural scenery when I travel. So in short, I travel to go hiking or spend time in some hut in the mountains.

Where's the other option: "I have a home, but prefer travelling"?

I came back from three months in India last year, & have missed the place ever since leaving.

When I was in SE Asia the year before, I wanted to hop onto another plane & keep travelling rather than return home.

If I had my druthers, I'd be an explorer, a gypsy or a roaming adventurer.

I enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and having new experiences. I've kind of always wanted to travel the world and wasn't sure how it would happen, but just kind of decided it would. So far I've seen most of the united States, some of Mexico and some of Europe. I also prefer not going to a resort over tourist area but kind of traveling through areas people live in and seeing what normal life is like there. I'm currently living in a different culture with a different language and it was a lot to take in at first, but I think the stolkholm syndrome has kicked in and I love it.

If I were wealthy, I'd travel more. I want to see new places and experience new things. I also want to know I have a safe and comfy home waiting for me when I'm done. My ex and I went to Europe several times because we together could muster up the money to go. Now that I'm alone, I'll probably never get to go again.

Traveling is wonderful! I just love exploring new areas and learning about the culture in it. I'm completely fascinated by the way people live that's different from myself. Plus who doesn't want to view new and exotic views? I really do need to travel more though.
