ENTP would be fun as balls. I know a lot of ENFP, and I always ponder how badass it would be to work with them, if they were just more rational.

An INFP - the non-leader leader

In all seriousness, I have never shrunken away from leading...

An INFP is likely to promote individual growth, inspire productivity and ingenuity in a positive manner, encourage through praise, give delicate criticism, keep a high standard of ethics, mercy and justice, and take a humanist view in decision making. We are visionary and innovative and like win-win situations.
Plus, we are very open to others' ideas, counsel, and insight, which is important for a leader. A good leader has to acknowledge that they cannot do it alone.

Absolutely. An INFP should be the obvious choice.

NTs the Rationals would make the ideal leading caste. Look at Plato's Republic, his Guardians and Philosopher Kings fit the NT profile.

INFPs in a corporate setting get walked on. Not to mention they don't like to be constrained by walls (cubicles). They are TYPICALLY to shy to speak up for themselves to get their points across. I know OrangeAppled listed a whole bunch of stuff that makes you guys sound awesome as leaders, but I know a couple in government and they did not fit in. Maybe a low IP would have a better chance of making it. Being outgoing and kind-hearted on a forum is not real life.

If I had to have an INF leader I would prefer an INFJ over a P sorry.

It is precisely because we dislike those things that we would make excellent leaders. We would change the system entirely. No more stuffy cubicles for anyone, and the entire meaning of "corporate" would be altered so it would no longer have such ESTJ connotations. It would stop being a negative, oppressive, brutal, cutthroat thing that saps away all freedom and individuality. We INFPs wouldn't work within the existing system. We would make the world a less hostile place for our kind. We aren't too shy to boldly battle for the things that matter to us, so I doubt our meekness would work against us.

You're kind? What the 4-5% of the population that is you? Come on Snail, the world is dominated by ESTJs, so therefore why would you change the corporate structure to suit 4-5% of the population?? I know you really really dislike ESTJ but they are not all bad like this forum thinks. There are just a lot of them so the frequency to find assholes is higher.

If INFPs ruled, the world would be a safe and comfortable place for all types, including ESTJs, since our goal would be to help each individual reach his or her full potential. In the ESTJ world, however, only other SJ types fit comfortably, and the rest of us spend our lives struggling and suffering, trying to avoid being crushed in its cogs.
