People like watching competitions, and one reason given is that competitions bring out or unleash the fierce drive in people. However, this fails to explain people's loyalty to certain teams or contestants. The earliest friendly competitions appear to be provided for entertainment, possibly...
Just came back from swimming! Hurrah! Weather was so hot so I went. The water was tepid!!! Yuck. I was hoping for it to be cool. No it was warm. :( that’s how warm the weather is now.
At the end there were girls doing water aerobics and it was smelly!!!!
How do people couple up and endure each...
I didn't go to church today. Too tired to crawl out of bed. Sleep schedule is totally wrong. Try another day.
Me: Did you take look at the past winners of the competition?
Me: Their stories are super country specific. I might not join the competition. I don't think I can win. Did...
I don't think this thread has been started yet for type 3, so I'll be the one to post it.
The purpose of this thread is for sharing those moments you have in your everyday life that make you go "Yup, I'm definitely a 3."
You know you're a type 3 when the idea of entering a...
So, my best friend is a self-proclaimed INTJ, although I feel she is more of an E sometimes. I have recently felt like being her friend has become a competition, which is very difficult for me considering other 'competitors' are outgoing E types who have no problem making conversation and...
What I'm wondering is if all personality types have something they compete over when you pit two of them together, and if so what do they compete over?
The strongest wins, assuming all types even do this? For example INTJ vs INTJ is always a duel over who's the smartest or most knowledgeable...
I'm asking INTP's because I figure no one knows an INTP better than an INTP.
So, let me hear it straight from the horses mouth!
What does an immature INTP look like?
what mindset might an immature INTP have?
What might their interaction style be like?
What sorts of insecurities might they...
I'm wanting to make great game to do with a small to large group of people, and I'm wanting some thoughts on how to make and implement the game.
My version that I have now goes like this: The game would have two teams. Both teams would have a desired response from the crowd, whichever team...
I have invested a bunch of time lately into researching Enneagram, but I haven't been doing it for a long period of time.
I am typed as 8w7, I want to be 8w7, and others online seem to lean towards 8w7. This makes me doubt that 8w7 is correct; it seems too convenient, and it has problems...

Hi everyone! :) I was wondering if any of you ISFP's out there are currently in medicine or know of other ISFP's who are. If so, how is it going??
Kinda some background as to why I'm asking... I'm a high school senior and currently in the process of applying to colleges, considering majors...
When I think of the US as a whole, without thinking of the smaller details, I think of:
Love of freedom and free speech
Guns and War
Being outwardly expressive of opinions
Where do you think the deep sense of pride comes from?
Is it from...
"Your ass is mine." Talking about the look on an ESTP's face when they've honed in on a target they're going after and they think it's going to land. It occurred to me that I love seeing this on someone's face, it's game on.
Even if the target is met, and it's not in my favor, I'll be coming...
Hello all. First post here!
So I want to know some of your thoughts about competition in general. I find myself, as an INFP, seeking to find harmony. Therefore I am really not driven to compete at all, whether this could be through sports, board/card games/ or everyday verbal debate.
I'd like to know how INFPs usually do in competitions, because this kind of thing either breaks my heart (by winning, usually because a friend is in the competition too but didn't win) or feel inferior and empty (by losing, and seeing how people doesn't care much about it).
Am I taking this too...
