I nearly always admire wise, gentle, complex and mysterious characters. You know, like Dumbledore (INFP?). Or the Doctor (Doctor Who)(INTP?).
Then there are the ones I really can't say I admire, but like nonetheless: House (INTP?), Dr. Strangelove (IXTP? No idea? Haha), Ben Linus (ISTJ?). Another example of a rather twisted character I loved was the title character from the 1965 film The Collector (another ISTJ?), played by a brilliant young Terence Stamp. He was so well-meaning, innocent, almost, and yet so warped. I definitely recommend the film to all of you.
(I feel a bit bad that none of these characters are female--the excuse I'm using is that there simply aren't enough stories that feature complex and flawed female characters, rather than superficial and sexy companions to more interesting male characters.)
