6w7 or 7w6

I've spend the whole night trying to find my enneagram!
So far, I think I'm either a 6w7 and 7w6.

I've done some research and found this page

First of all, does it seem right to you?

Anyways I was happy to see that Ron and Jacob were there cuz I like them as characters haha but thats completly off-topic

I really identify with both of those :S The problem is that it describes both of them and I identify with both of them, but doesnt really give a compariason... like 6w7 will be more blahblahblah then 7w6...

Then I read the 6 and 7 personnalities, however I'm not egocentric and agressive and sutff like that like they said on 7(it may be wrong, i dont mean to offend anyone!)
neither extremly paranoid negative like 6(ok maybe they're not that much but whatever)
And I read somewhere (on a enneagram comparator thing) that 6 liked to plan and be extremly safe in all ways, is it true?

I just read even more but now on PerC xD But just the 7 description and the 7w6 seem pretty different, is that like normal o.o

Hey, I've been having the same problem but I don't think any of the enneagram types are as set in stone in their typology as the myers-brigs. It's more like a fluctuation in typology that's why there's all those lines in the circle--the psyche is dynamic. It's like what happens when you are having bad psychic hygiene or stressed or in crisis that you see the more negative aspects of a personality. That's why I think you see people get divorced when economic problems arise. For a more indepth explanation of this I suggest:

I mean that the enneagram is supposed to point out what our strongest motive in life is. This motive drives us toward goals. When we are moving in an unhealthy way (so many different unhealthy ways but for 7's it's stretching yourself too thin and not finishing anything for example) then you end up with the more negative aspects of the type. Our personalities fluctuate based on circumstance. This is true about all people. The enneagram is dynamic because the world is dynamic and our psyches are dynamic. Things change, people change, people's reactions and motivations change. It's hard to explain. But the idea is to try to be healthy and, knowing your motivation in life you can find the corresponding enneagram type to see the fluctuations of your psyche based on the obstacles that will potentially arise by following that motive to some end.

Hi Coco- have you taken any tests? Try taking a few and see what your top results are. Focus first on finding your dominant type and then look into wings. Here's some more tips:

My bet is on 7w6, comparing you to Nyx (ENFP 6w7 you bet your ass I'm using you) you seem a little less cautious.

The carefree hopscotching around is more reminiscent of a 7.

How much faith do you put into the future?

I took tests, and I somehow get 7, 2, then bunch of other stuff. Sometimes 2 is first tough.
However I don't relate much, I just love to help people and make people happy but apparently I'm still not nice enough to be a 2 lol... And I don't absolutely need to be loved xP Now the whole earth (and some other planets) can know that my enneagram is not 2, yay

As for the faith in future uh idk D: I keep dreaming about stuff that could (most likely not) happend like being a rockstar or explore all the world and stuff. I don't have emo feelings if that was the question. Sorry if I didn't answer it correctly lol

7s tend to have a view that future will work itself out, and have less of a negative "well maybe this" "maybe this", 6s create larger scenarios, they look to cover all bases on everything.

Yeah, I'll stick with 7.

Are 7 really selfish and all that? o.o And what do you mean by ''cover all bases'' ? :S Only about dreaming of being a super rockstar or about everything?

Selfish is too broad of a term, 7s are out to have fun and are fun to be around. In the good ol' fashioned sense they are seen as selfish, but personally, I don't.

By cover all bases, 6's take it upon themselves to constantly think about the "who/what/when/where" always questioning. They don't want to be taken by surprise by life, and everything. Also as a who I'd say they're more in their head than a 7.

7s escape into their mind, it's not the natural detachment of a 5, or the conscious detachment of a 6. They run into their head when things get too rough.

Thanks Scruffy I was having the same problem and Coco I am getting all the same results as you! I do think that the future will work out, too. I'm so glad I read this. Coco, everyone is selfish sometimes. Being that you fluctuate towards 2 probably demonstrates you care about other people and 7w6 is called the entertainer. Oh, wait wouldn't a 6w7 be called the buddy. Now I'm confused again. Hahahaa.
