I may only have been born in '89, but there's something about 80s music that I find very compelling. I think it's the pervading importance of melody. I'm more into the earlier works of REM than the stuff people have been posting here, though I've recently become a sucker for "Broken Wings" by Mr. Mister. Also I've been listening to 867-5309 all day. Would post links, but sadly the forum doesn't find me cool enough yet.
