Hi, I am an ISFJ male, 21, born and raised in the United States. Though I am an ISFJ, I sometimes score as INTP on personality tests. I am borderline S/N and F/T, but lean towards S and F. I do not have that high of a J either. My main attribute would be my extreme introversion. I have mostly been around NT's and NF's my life, which has lead me to be slightly unusual for an ISFJ.
I am currently going to school and will be majoring in Japanese. I plan to be a missionary to Japan, and I feel really called there.
I currently am in a group of friends of which are mostly NF's. Due to the volatile/fragile nature of the interactions between NF's and SJ's I have come to study the MBTI types thoroughly in order to get an understanding of them, so that I may better interact with my friends.
I sometimes think that it would be better if I did not know my personality type, because it can occasionally seem like a box of which I am confined in. However, since I can better learn how to interact with people with the different personality types, I believe that it is a worthwhile effort.
As one can see, my technical writing is not that good. I prefer creative writing, though I rarely allow myself to write. I used to draw, all though it has fallen to the way side.
I am not as stifled as this introduction may seem; I just tend to adapt my language based on my audience. With that and lack of sleep, my lack luster ability to communicate can become more dry and choppy.
I hope I did not bore any unfortunate individual who read my introduction and I look forward to contributing.
