What motivates you to be organized?
I'm sort of the opposite of you. I'm big on list and okay with clutter.I'm not overly organized, but I get a bit nervous if my surroundings are too cluttered. This is really the only reason since, regardless of placement, I can usually find what I need.
But as far as things like list-writing and such are concerned-- if it's not groceries, then I can't be bothered.
It saves time/effort in the long run.
I can't keep track of all the thoughts running in my head so the important ones will have to go on paper in case of a brain fart...
Agreed....Efficiency.
I laughed out loud when reading this. Not because it isn't true in it self, but I got a picture in my mind of someone with autism-like kind of pedantic behavior and complex structuring, for example organizing smarties in to different groups of colors and then proclaiming: "It saves time in the long run". x'DIt saves time/effort in the long run.
