A stupid question xD

Do you pronounce the function names as they're spelled or pronounce each individual letter separately?

Example: Ne

"Knee" or "Enn-ee?"

I used to pronounce it "knee" and I used to laugh to myself when people said "An Ne-Dom" because in my head it sounded like "An Knee-Dom" then I started pronouncing it differently. xD

The way I speak English, Ne and Ni, Te and Ti, Fe and Fi, Se and Si would all sound the same. So that causes me to say F-E, or N-I or just the whole thing like Extroverted Thinking.

I pronounce it like "neigh." Like a horse neighing or something. I don't even know why. I just do. XD

My function order is enee, effai, tee-ee, essai. The other four functions are ennai, effee, teeai, and essee! :)

I say it letter-by-letter.

This is random but laughable cognitive function confusion-- I don't know how many of you play the game Draw Something on your iPhones/iPads/whatever but basically it's like pictionary and I was playing with my boyfriend who obviously knows all about MBTI and my word was ironman-- so I drew "Fe" + a picture of a man and he was like... "extroverted feeling man?" LOL

I say them all as words.

I don't really understand their intricacies which suits me fine. Saying them in a fun way is the extent to which i cares.

Awesome post, by the way :D

Buhh writing letters spoils the game :(

(I probably would have said the same thing as him for the record :p)
In my head I same the letters individually. As a music student I already use Ti, Te, Si, Se, Fi, Fe for solfege purposes :p

That would actually work for me..
I want to say them as words, but I look and see "Ne" and think, "nee".
I look and see Ni, and Japanese class kicks in, and I say "nee".
It's hard for me to say "nigh" on that one.
Fi (Fai/Figh) is easy.. I think "Fe Fi fo fum."

Ne: Knee
Ni: Nye
Fi: Fye
Fe: Fay
Te: Tay
Ti: Tie
Si: Sigh
Se: Say

That's how I pronounce them. My boyfriend and I joke about playing Ne-pong and we always pronounce it like that.

Hahaha. I pronounce Ni the same way you do, but, for some reason, I'll pronounce Fi as "fee" instead.

Well, I would say Fi as "fee" too, but I was able to stop it.. I might have to start saying all the vowels Japanese style..That helps me a lot.
Fi = Fee, Fe = Feh, Ni = Nee, Ne = Neh, etc.

Hahaha. I think you just explained to me why I pronounce the functions the way I do. I swear I watched too much anime in my lifetime. It's starting to affect the way I pronounce things. XD
