I'd rather be called Geek than Nerd. Just because I see Nerd as someone who is always in a library reading books and is super smart. I'm smarter than the average person but I'm certainly not super smart and I hate libraries. Geek reminds me of Technology. Otaku is also an acceptable thing to call me.

I'm an INFJ and I love INTP and INTJ types because they are thinkers. Whether it's scientist, strategist, engineer, smart, gamer, nerd, geek, otaku, techie, dweeb, weirdo or whatever else people call them or me, I don't care. Names are names and you can take offense or not. I don't because by definition I'm kind of an otaku or a nerd and plenty weird. I'd be upset if someone called me "manly" "threatening" or "a selfish person who doesn't like helping people" because those are things I wouldn't want to be known as. But if I could be classified as a nerd along with the bright people who are innovative and can change the world, right on.
