Im very confused about my type. I must have took the test a bunch of times and still came up a INTJ. It seems to me that most INTJ's are very intelligent which i am not. I do okay in school mostly B's and some A's but nothing great. Im going to list a few things about myself maybe that will help.

I love to research everything that I am intrested in until I become a expert on it. Sometimes I stay up until the wee hours of the morning researching topics of intrest. I prefer books to people most of the time. I have a small circle of friends that I see sometimes on the weekends but not very often. Sadly I get tired of people easily even my closest friends and prefer to be alone. I like to debate relgion with theists since I
am a atheist. I usually always think I'm right or so my dad tells me. I basically live inside my own head that people see me as aloof.

I am a pretty cold and cynical person. I barley ever express my feelings to people. I guess I look cold and mean? because most of my friends were afriad to talk to me. I was a VERY quite child until I hit highschool I kind of opened up more. I've never had a relationship even though I'm only fifteen I veiw it as stupid. I have been asked out alot but I just dont see the point. Also again I hate opening up to people when someone seems to like me I avoid them like the plague.

There alot more but I dont want to keep going on and on. So could anyone help me? I'll answer any questions I'm just curious even though I dont take this test to seriously I would just like to know. Thanks.

It seems like you just regurgitated a generic INTJ description lol...Partially atleast...
But to actually be helpful: Is there any reason, besides the fact that you don't think you're intelligent enough to be an INTJ, that you're doubting that that is your type?

EDIT: And is there anything else you're considering as your type?

You sound like an INTJ to me. You don't have to be very intelligent to be an INTJ, although I don't see why you don't consider yourself to be intelligent since you mostly get B's. :/

Well Im kind of doubting it because sometimes I think im an INTP than sometimes a INTJ. Even though I never tested as a INTP. Besides that from researching it seems to be that INTJ's are very self confident which I am not. Also they are said to be natural leaders which at times I am not. I guess I question it because INTJ's are pretty rare and im not sure if I really am one.

You do sound more INTP to me. Google the J description, and while you're at it, Google "INTP functions" and then "INTJ functions". Read it objectively and then decide.

Alternatively, take the cognitive fuctions test. Just go to www.keys2cognition.ocom.

Consider MBTI your all-night project tonight. (And a hint - it's the INTPs that tend to go nuts with the Google. Encyclopedias ARE their pillows.)

MBTI is not an intelligence test. Tying as T, thinker, has nothing to do with intelligence. The term is confusing.

Any personality type can have less confident people in it, because MBTI does not take upbringing, past memories and experiences, schooling, any early events that might have undermined your confidence into account. Also since you are in your teens you may perhaps feel more influences of peer pressure that can affect how confident you are in yourself. INTJs tend to be late bloomers. They also tend to prefer to take second in command positions rather than direct leadership positions. If they take direct leadership positions it tends to be later in life, not in teens.

INTJ'S are very caring people, though we don't let people see that side of us. I cant say for certian, but the part about being intelligent, I dont see where I am very intelligent either but I guess its the entire makeup of all of you put into categories, and it sounds like intj except for the cold part

What does your room look like?
You organized?

Do you actually give a shit about school because you see it taking you somewhere, in the long-term?

I just wanted to point out, that this is the type of "self-confidence", that they're referring to. It could be a bit more indicative of Te, as it's a more "rigid and stubborn" function. Te is also an extroverted judging function, making you more apt to assert your logical view. Probably what you're doing, when you debate the theists. If you're trying to "talk logical sense into them", you're almost assuredly using NiTe. TiNe, as in the INTP, is more apt to argue things, seeking further clarity for Ti. Te is asserting yourself as correct, with no other two ways about it. Ti is seeking further clarity as to what is correct.

My rooms kinda of organized in its own way but not very. I'm more organized in school than in my room. Meaning I have certain plan books and places in my school bag/locker where everything must go or I get all anal about it.

I care about school ALOT. I am just going to be a sophomore this year and I am stressing about college already. Im trying to decide what I want to do I seem to have a plan for my whole life already.

Your right that I like to take second in command positions more. But sometimes when im working in groups with people (which I hate working in groups with people) I sometimes get annoyed and want to do the work perfectly so I take charge and give people certain parts to do so I can just do the rest correctly.

Are we also late bloomers In relationships and such??

I have a couple of questions for you, if you could answer I have an idea of what you might be...
What are your favorite subjects in school? Math and Science or English and Language? One more thing- are you artsy at all? Do you like photography, drawing, painting etc?
When you're trying to tell someone about something that happened in the past, do you tell the story from beginning to end, or does it sound something like this: "Well, this happened... but before that this happened and oh! wait, there was something inbetween those two too!"
Just a few questions...?

From what you've said so far, I'd say INTJ seems to fit you well. Not all J's have neat environments. I am a slob and I am a J. Sometimes that N can make your J look like a P. But the fact that in some areas you have a high need for organization and the fact that you are a planner suggests to me that you are a J.

Please don't sell yourself short in the intelligence department. From what you've written here, you sound like a very intelligent person. (intelligence and grades do not always go hand in hand) The fact that you want to debate deep issues like religion at such a young age suggests to me that you are a very deep thinker. The more you learn about, the more "intelligent" you will become.

INTJs are not intelligent by definition. You sound like you could be an INTJ. The "living inside your head" bit sounds extremely familiar. If I'm not mistaking, the INFJ also has the iN dominant function.

Being an INTJ is a challenge. You have rare abilities, but also rare areas where you may not be as naturally talented. I have found that in high school, this is a bad deal; your disinterest in social activities is not accepted, a lot of the work you do does not require the creativity that the N provides. I remember not doing too remarkably iin high school, above average, but not spectacular. Then I went to uni, did a masters, which required more creativity. That went better. Next, a PhD. Even more independence, and results were even better.

So don't worry. There are more folks like you out there. And we tend to do very well in the end :)

BTW, a similar story applies if you turn out to be an INTP. And, for the record, this INTJ tends to be very messy in things he doesn't care about - so deciding whether you are an INTP or an INTJ is not as simple as looking in your room.

INTP's are just as rare as INTJ's. Each of the 4 IN types represent about 1% of the population. How many people like you do you personally know? Don't you kinda know that you're on the rare side? (Personally, it makes me feel special.)

Regarding your comment on not being self-confident... 15 year olds tend not to be self-confident because they haven't completely figured out who they are yet (which it appears you are working on now). And the ones that seem self-confident are usually the ones that are the least.

If you haven't read this description of an INTJ, check it out and see if you feel it fits you...
Portrait of an INTJ

But it REALLY sounds to me like you are an INTJ - if I were you, I don't think I would question the test results.
