Hi
I'm an electronics engineer by background and typically see better solutions to problems and don't 'stick to the script'. That means that I work well as a process improvement consultant but sometimes come up against people who believe that procedure comes before solution. I am often in conflict with 6 Sigma fundamentalists who see gathering data about a process as more important than speaking to those doing the job. I don't believe in hierarchies and respecting someone just because they have a title. So that makes me a square peg in some organisations and a valued member in others.
I'll post an article I recently wrote on Square Pegs and I'd appreciate comment on it
