Hi there!

I've signed up on so many forums throughout the years and each time I get less and less sure of what to say in the introduction post, haha. Love the emoticons...

So. I'm a 26 year old married gal living in Toronto, Ontario. I'm Canadian, eh?

So I'm an INFP, enneagram type 9w1. At least, I think I am. Truth be told, I'm struggling with some things so my emotions are running amok a bit, so hopefully the results are accurate. I think they are.

For as long I can remember I've been in love with music. Singing, playing piano, a little bit of dancing. When I had more spare time I was heavily in love with anime and video games, now I only dabble in both here and there.

I'm in the midst of deciding where I want to go next career-wise. I've read a lot of things on the internet saying INFP's need to find what makes their heart sing, and go for it. I honestly think that's music. But what can I do with that to make an income better than what I'm making now? I have a degree in Computer Science, so in the rare instances where I have self-confidence I know that I have some skills, smarts, and perseverance to do whatever I want to do. But what do I WANT?

I hope that being on PerC and reading more on this personality stuff will help me answer that question, and others.

Oh, and although my desks, closets, etc. are always a mess, I love to organize important documents, tables/databases, and the like. So slightly different than the average INFP, maybe?

I'll sign off as I always do with my intro posts, to appease my comp-sci self:

Hello, world!

Welcome to PerC. I'm new too.

A light-hearted interrogation follows.

Would you happen to be aSnowyEvening of the Robert Frost sort or the SNOWPOCALYPSE sort?

What made you decide to study computer science?

Also, I don't see organization as being too odd for an INFP. Sounds like indulging in the inferior in a healthy, controlled way.

Haha, loving the friendly bot :)
@cerenach - Very astute! It is indeed of the Robert Frost variety. Whose woods these are, I think I know...

In high school I took a programming course as an elective. One of the first assignments I did, I was so engrossed that I kept working away and looked at the clock and suddenly realized it was 1am. I was usually in bed by 11, so this was a surprise! Both of my parents are also in the computer field, so it seemed to make sense to me.
@Ninjaws - Thank you!
