General to specific, specific to general – what does it mean?

General to specific would mean progressing from expansive concepts towards more complex and intricate subjects. Specific to general would involve getting past the specific details first before approaching more open-ended possibilities.

What does "logical" mean? What is your understanding? Do you think that it correlates with the common view?

Someone who is ‘logical’ would be rational, insightful and practical. When an explanation is described as ‘logical’ it’s coherent and makes perfect sense. A lot of people use logic and intelligence interchangeably, but in my opinion logic is more concerned with the reality and intelligence focuses on the possibilities.

How do you explain fractions on the dial of the clock?

The fractions on the dial of the clock are the tiny markings that indicate the respective minute and second of any given time.

What is a rule? What rules do you have to follow?

Rules are specific and inflexible statements that detail on what requires to be done. Rules at workplaces and schools should be followed. I look at laws as rules that should be followed by everyone as well.

What is hierarchy? Do you need to follow it? Why or why not?

Hierarchy refers to any system where there is a specific ranking for all concerned elements. The system should be followed in appropriate scenarios like at a workplace between different levels of management. But, personally, I prefer working on my own. I don’t mind giving orders, but I dislike taking them.

What do you think of instructions? Do you use them? Could you write an instruction manual? If so, what type of instruction manual would you most likely write?

Instructions are helpful when involving learning new things or maybe operating a new gadget, some find them helpful and others use them occasionally. I would place myself in the latter category, I’m a kinaesthetic learner. I push buttons around and see what happens. I could probably write an instruction manual on how to use skincare products, but writing instruction manuals sounds uninteresting.

Please explain: "Freedom is in complying with the laws, but not in ignoring the laws"? Do you agree with the statement? Why?

I agree with the statement. If we don’t adhere to laws we put someone else’s life at risk, involuntarily making a choice for them, which they would not have chosen. By doing so we are interfering with someone else’s freedom. We also put ourselves in danger as we are in the danger being charged with a penalty or worse.
Tell us how about consistent you are?
Moderately, so. I’m never late for anything, whether it be school or a movie at the cinemas. With projects and other similar things, I procrastinate, but not past the deadline.

What is a "standard"? Why do people need it?

Standard is used to maintain norm for evaluations or maintaining uniformity. Its required to measure deviations or progress against the norm.
You need to put your home library in order. How do you feel about this activity? How will you approach this task?
I feel lethargic about it, I will delay doing it. Once I begin, however, I will complete it in 30 minutes. I will organize it according to my convenience, eg. Books I read more often than the rest will be placed ahead of the ones I don’t read so often.

Block II

What is work in your opinion? Why do people go to work? Are there any parameters where you can distinguish whether you can do this work or not?

Work is something you, as a valuable human resource, contribute to the society. People who work are remunerated, this remuneration can be used to pay for their livelihood and leisure. Of course, everyone and anyone can do any work, but parameters of qualification and aptitude stop us from doing this.

Is there any correlation between quality and quantity? Tell us if or how the price depends on quality?

I think quality and quantity are inversely related. If something has a really high quality, its price will be higher due to various charges, hence a lesser quanity will be sold. On the other hand, if a product is low I terms of quality, to have better sales if will be sold either at a cheaper price or more quantity.

How do people determine the quality of work? How do you determine such quality? How well you can determine the quality of any purchase, do you pay any attention to it?

Most people determine quality by brands because they think popular brands are more reliable, but I think that’s unfair. Branded products tend to be more expensive, but don’t always deliver. So, I’ve become less dependent on brands. I assess the quality of a brand by how popular it might be or by testing it out, if I’m satisfied with the results I’ll buy more of it and lend it a good word.

How do you feel if you didn't finish some work? Does it ever happen? What are the reasons?

I feel guilty if I don’t finish a particular work that I allotted to myself for that given time. I feel unsuccessful. It happens often, but I console myself and make up for it by completing some other chore. I think it’s because my work is a source of accomplishment.

What is "interesting work" for you? Please explain in detail.

When the work keeps me engrossed and is related to a subject that I find interesting. Work that is interactive and involves other people is also something I like. I really like reading, especially, crime fiction. I really used to enjoy writing for my school journal and maintaining a record of my travels. I like travelling a lot, going to different places and experiencing culture makes me really happy. I like learning new things by reading encyclopaedias or looking up random facts.

You go to the store and see something you're interested in buying; there is a price tag on it. What parameters are you going to use to understand if it's overpriced, underpriced, or priced correctly?

I’ll check if it’s a brand I’m familiar with, and if I’ve had satisfactory experiences with in the past. If not, I’ll check the product details. If I have a friend with me, I’ll ask my friend if they’ve had a good experience with that product. I’ll also consult the store staff for their recommendation.

When you work and someone tells you: "You don't do it right." What is your reaction?

I’ll ask that person what is the right way to do the task. My reaction will be a little biased on whether or not I like that person. I will probably get irritated and snap at the person if I don’t particularly like them.

There is a professional right next to you. You always see that you can't perform the way they do. Your feelings, thoughts and actions?

I’ll probably try and learn from them, ask them for advice and tips. I would feel inferior and have a bit of self-doubt if that person was a peer.

When you have to ask someone else to help you with the task, how do you feel?
You need to build a pyramid exactly like in Egypt. Your thoughts, feelings and actions?

I don’t like asking people for help, unless I’m absolutely certain that I need it. In case, I need to build a pyramid I will most definitely need help. I would assign myself the duties of a manager or someone who oversees all of the work. I will initially feel stressed, but I will be very determined. I will appoint an architect first, gather resources and then appoint the workforce.

Block III

What is beauty? Do you change your opinion about beauty? Does your understanding correlate with the generally accepted notion? What goes beyond the generally accepted notion?

Beauty is anything that appeals to one’s aesthetic senses. I do think that my opinion of beauty correlates with the commonly accepted notion. I think the beauty of the universe is beyond the comprehension of most people.

Please describe your understanding of a beautifully dressed person. What is the core of beauty? How do you explain what is beautiful to a person who has never heard about beauty before?

Anyone can look beautiful as long as they are appropriately dressed according to their body type and occasion. To anyone who has never heard of beauty before, I would say that a person looks beautiful when they look the best they can at given point of time.

Is there a template of understanding what beautiful means for everyone to use? Is there such a term as "classical beauty"? If so, what is it?

‘Beauty’ is a word that rings in a positive connotation in the minds of most people. Sometimes words like ‘sexy’ or ‘risqué’ don’t. I’d guess ‘beauty’ could translate into its classical definition of being elegant or sensual, but not ‘sexy’. Most people, I think, use this template of understanding.

What is comfort? What is coziness? How do you create your comfort and coziness? How do others evaluate your skill in doing so? Do you agree with them?

Comfort is feeling satisfied with your physical and emotional state. I’m a creature of habit so I associate my comfort with my routine, like, sleeping on a particular side of the bed comforts me. I like using plushies to create a sense of cosiness in my room. I think most people would say that my room isn’t the cosiest, but it is certainly comfortable. It has a large open space to comfortably accommodate a lot of people, and most people agree with me on that.

How do you pick your own clothes? Do you follow fashion? Why? Do you know how to select clothes for different types of figures?

I like to pick out my own clothes, I do consult the opinions of others but, the final choice is my own. I don’t particularly follow fashion or the latest trends, I wear what I like whether it’s trendy or not. I have good eye for selecting clothes for people with different figures.

How do you cook? Do you follow recipes? What do others think of your skill?

I strictly follow the recipe, word for word. However, if I am sure that altering a particular step would enhance the flavour of the dish, I don’t hesitate tweaking things a bit. My family enjoys the food I make.

Are you good at color patterns and mixing them and matching?

I do like experimenting with colours, but, I think I’m good at mixing and matching colour patterns.

If someone is telling you what is beautiful and what is not, what goes with what color and what is not, do you agree with this person?

I would not necessarily agree with that person. I think it’s very narrow-minded of anyone to hold a restricted opinion of what is considered to beautiful and what isn’t. I’ve always been open to the concept of what beauty is. Its definition can’t be taped and boxed up, rather it must be felt and experienced. It’s completely alright to have your own opinion on colour and beauty, but it isn’t alright to heap it on someone else.

Tell us how you'd design any room, house or an office. Do you do it yourself or trust someone else to do it? Why?

I would place furniture in positions I’d like to see them in. I’m all about experimenting, finally, I’d see what works best and place things accordingly. I like open spaces and despise cramp and cluttered rooms. Space is utmost priority in my opinion. I’d prefer to do it myself if I’m the one who is going to be spending the most time there. I like personalising my surroundings.

How do you know if a person has bad taste? Could you give us an example? Do you always trust your own taste or do you seek opinions from others?

Something that upsets me more than bad taste is lack of originality. People who obsess over fashion fads, latest trend or simply copy wardrobes of other people annoy me. Having no taste is worse than bad taste. For example, baring skin is an easy alternative to actually putting some effort into dressing tastefully. I generally trust my own taste.

Block IV

Can you line up human resources and make them do things? What methods do you use? Can you press people? If so, how does it happen?

I can probably make us all work together as a team. I can be authoritative, and I can press people to work accordingly. If I don’t see them work hard enough, I will pressurize them into doing things.

What is incursion? How do you deal with this? Can you repulse? How easy can you do it?

The act of attacking abruptly would be an incursion. I would counter-attack to defend myself. I would probably repulse by threatening the person with anything I could use as a weapon. It wouldn’t be easy; I would try my best,

What does "my people" and "strangers" mean? When do "my people" become "strangers" and why?

“My people” would include my friends, family and acquaintances. “Strangers” would include people I don’t know at all and people who I know nothing of but their name. When a friend or family member isn’t in contact with you or you haven’t communicated in a while, it’s almost like your relationship with them is off and you don’t know them that well anymore.

Are there strategies of attack? Can you use them? When is it justified?

I think you can attack a person either physically or by using your words to argue or insult them. I use the latter more often, I was in elementary school the last time I was assaulted on and struck back. In my mind, any kind of attack isn’t really justified, a conflict can always be talked out and brought to a negotiation. That being said, some people just don’t get along and instead of making a scene, you can just ignore each other. Period.

Do you think it's ok to occupy someone else's territory? In what situations?

I think it’s ok, as long as you’re sure you won’t get caught and don’t vandalize the place.

What are the methods of volitional force? When is it most effective and in what situations?

I’m not really familiar with many methods of volitional force, I guess it would really effective in cases where you need to assert yourself firmly.

How do you protect yourself and your interests?

I would probably try to understand the scope of my power in a the given situation and then kind of work behind the scenes to see what I can do. I do think I have the ability to put someone else’s interests in danger to protect my own.

Describe your behavior in the situations of opposition and if you have to use some force?

I’d probably get really aggressive, I wouldn’t get into physical fights. I have a rather acidic tongue, I can get really insulting and jibe at people. But, I probably wouldn’t use force.

Do others think of you as a strong person? Do you think you are a strong person?

I do think most people see me as a mentally and emotionally strong person, I think they’re right too. I am physically fit, but I don’t think I’m strong or seen as strong in that aspect.

How do you understand if a person is strong? Are there any signs of a strong person? What is the core of any force? Why do people listen to one person, but not the other?

I think a person can be identified as strong emotionally if they are tuned in to their emotion, strong mentally if they don’t give into to anxiety and pressure and strong physically if they can push themselves to achieve they’re complete physical potential.

The core of any force is a person’s will power and determination. All people are different and see things differently, one person may be able to convey things to different people who see things differently.

Block V

What is boorishness? Does your understanding of it correlate with the generally accepted notion? How would you explain what boorishness mean to a 10 year old child? How would you explain the same to an adult who does not behave ethically?

To be boorish is to be ill-mannered or insensitive. I do think my understanding of the term correlates with the generally accepted notion. I would tell a 10 year old hurting someone’s feelings or being generally unpleasant is to be boorish. On the other hand, I’d explain to an adult that they’re boorish by telling that they’re being rude and insensitive to people around them.

How would you improve the moral of the society?

I would try setting an example to them by being the best I can and standing up for the principles I believe in.

Can you justify somebody's bad behavior by thinking that he/she wasn't taught how to do so?

No, I don’t think somebody’s bad behaviour can be justified this way, a person has a chance at improving themselves by observing the good in people around them. Simply not being taught good behaviour isn’t a valid excuse.

Give us your understanding of love. Can you love and punish at the same time?

I think love is a concept that cannot be accurately defined using words, love is a feeling that brings about unconditional affection. It is possible to love and punish at the same time, for instance a mother who loves her child may choose to punish her child for their betterment.

Have you heard about the Southern hospitality? Everything is for the guest. There is also a German hospitality – the master of the house is always right. What method is the right one? Try to evaluate without the weight of any cultural aspects, traditions, nations etc.

The German hospitality is right in my opinion, we must generously extend hospitality to our guests however, the owner of the house should be able to exercise complete authority.

What is sympathy? When do you need to express it? When is it advised not to?

Sympathy is a feeling of pity extended from one person to another. It should be expressed when someone needs to be comforted. However if one’s sympathy does not comfort the other person or makes that person seem inferior, in that case we should not express our sympathies.

Are there any norms of behavior in the society? Do you follow them? Do people always have to follow them? Why?

Yes, there are certain norms of behaviour that we must follow in the socity to go about our routine life, for example, we must not indulge in any criminal activities. It is important to follow these norms because without these norms we wouldn’t be able to live our lives by utilising all opportunities given to us. These norms preserve our humanity.

How do you know what attitude among people is right or wrong?

The norms laid by our society acts as a measure of comparison to distinguish wrong from right.

What does moral mean? What is immoral? Does your understanding correlate with the others? How can you evaluate the correctness of your own understanding?

Morals are standard principles that help us tell apart from what is wrong and what is right. Anything that goes against these standards could be categorized as immoral. It is difficult to evaluate the correctness of our understanding, human morals are complex and can’t be accurately judged.

Somebody is giving you a negative attitude – what is your reaction? Could you show your own negative attitude toward someone else? If so, how? Could you give a person the silent treatment? How easily do you forgive people?

When given a negative attitude, I would firstly try to figure out why I’m being treated so. If the person has a valid reason to be upset with me, I would try to rectify the error on my part by apologising. If I haven’t done anything wrong, I will most likely ignore the person completely. I would probably show my negative attitude to someone by giving them the silent treatment.

One my flaws is holding grudges against people, I’m unable to forgive and forget once someone has deeply hurt me.

Block VI

"Whole world does not cost one tear of child" – how do you understand this phrase? Do you agree with this opinion?

Our world is plagued with problems like poverty, political conflicts, homelessness and unequal availability of resources. All these problems have been created by mankind’s insatiable greed. Many children around the world suffer due to these problems. This phrase, which I agree with, states that mankind’s greed is not worth a child’s tear.

Is it acceptable to express emotions? Give examples of inappropriate expression of emotions.

I believe that it is acceptable to express emotions, but it is also important to be considerate to your surroundings. People around you shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable by your display of emotions. For instance, if you are angry with someone at a party, it is inadvisable to argue with them publicly and create a scene. Rather, you could speak to them privately after the party is over.

Can you use negative emotions? In what situations?

Yes, negative emotions are helpful if we channel them rightly. For example, you could use jealousy to fuel completion which would drive you to be successful. On the contrary, it could also create lack of self-esteem, reinforcing the fact that we need to channel our emotions rightly. Negative emotions also teach us more about ourselves and present us with learning opportunities.

How do you express negative emotions? What does it look like? What do others think about it?

To be honest, I can’t deal with my negative emotion very well. It’s very volatile, I get into mood swings and outbursts of temper. I’m not loud, just very unpleasant to be around. Thankfully, it doesn’t happen so often. When this happens, most people avoid me and wait for me to come around on my own, which works.

Shallow emotions – what does it mean? Are there any other emotions?

Emotions that aren’t really heartfelt and last for a short period of time would is what I understand to be shallow emotions. Emotions can be deep, positive or, as mentioned above, negative.

What are right or wrong emotions?

An emotion can be right or wrong in the context of a given situation. For example, if you have done something wrong- expressing remorse or guilt is the right thing to do, emotions like satisfaction or joy would be completely wrong.

Can you change the emotional state of yourself? Of others? To what side – positive or negative?

I can change my emotional state for better, and also for worse. I can do the same for others.

What does it mean to "pour out your emotions"? How does it happen?

Pouring out your emotions would mean telling someone else about your state of emotions and the cause for it. It can happen on one’s own volition or it can be forced out. I think more often than not it happens out of one’s own volition.

Does your internal emotional state correlate with what you show externally?

When something is troubling me, it is more evident on my face. In that case my inner state of emotions correlate to what is seen externally. But, I don’t express positive emotions similarly. I keep my positive emotions to myself, and don’t usually show it externally.

Do you track what mood you are in throughout the day? Do you notice the mood of others?

I don’t keep a track of my mood throughout the day, but I do notice the mood of others and I try to find out the source behind their change in mood

Block VII

Do you like surprises?

I take that surprises are mentioned here using a positive connotation, so yes, I think surprises are delightful. However, I don't think people like my reaction to surprises, they don't think I outwardly look happy- but, I, most usually, am.

How people change? How do you feel about those changes? Can others see the changes?

People change by the second, in tiny little ways. We aren’t the same people we were even half a second ago. I think that change is inevitable. The change isn’t entirely obvious, but, it’s there nevertheless.

Is it true that whatever happens is only for the best?

I don’t think it’s true. I believe that sometimes there’s no stopping what’s going to happen and if it happens, just go with the flow.

What do you think of horoscopes, fortune telling etc.? Do you believe in luck, lucky fortuity?

I find horoscopes very interesting, but I think horoscopes that forecast the future are phoney. I think a part of me believes in luck, but I’m still uncertain about it.

Can you forecast events? Is it even real?

It is possible, some people are highly intuitive. I’ve observed it myself. We have an acute awareness of how things are likely to turn out. I don’t see that ability as having any kind of metaphysical connection, but something that science hasn’t been able to fully explain.

What is time? How do you feel time? Can you "kill" time? How?

Time is a dimension. Time is something we perceive to make sense of our surroundings. We can’t really ‘kill’ time, but, by having something interesting to do we can perceive it as moving a lot more quickly than it actually is.

Is it easy for you to wait for some important event? What if you don’t know when it is supposed to happen?

Yes, it is relatively easier for me to wait for an event if I’m uncertain of when it will occur. If I do know when it will occur, anticipation might excite me or make me nervous.

Do you need help creating forecasts and determining how something will end? Do you trust those forecasts?

I don’t trust forecasts, unless they concern the weather. Generally, if I want to predict the likelihood of something happening, I’d try to estimate it myself.

Are you normally late? How do you react if someone is late?

I’m never late, on the contrary, I make an effort to try to be late but I’m almost always unsuccessful. If someone else is late and they don’t have a good reason for being late, I’ll sigh and try not to hold a grudge.

Imagine the situation where you agreed to meet with someone. Your feelings and actions:
a) 20 minutes before the meeting starts: I’ll be probably seated near the spot we agreed to meet at, and looking for free WiFi on my phone
b) 5 minutes before the meeting starts: Looking up from my phone screen once every minute. Trying to not look suspicious, like a criminal.
c) it is time for the meeting to start, but the person is not here: Decide that they’ll probably arrive in another 5 minutes
d) 20 minutes after the meeting start time and the person is not here: Decide what I’d do in case they don’t arrive
e) more time and the person is still not here…: Be heavily disappointed in them and scold myself for arriving on time, as always.

Block VIII

Is there a meaning of life? In what? Is it the same for everybody?

I hope so, I think questioning the meaning of life makes it seem depressing and meek. We should simply enjoy and do the best we can, and not dwell on our purpose in life too much. Obviously, people are going to have a different opinion than me, so life means different things to different people

What should be done so people can be happy?

Everyone deserves the best of all opportunities, and freedom. I think its important to have the best understanding of what our world, in order to gain a perspective on what makes them happy. Beyond that, I think each individual holds the key to their happiness, the problem arises when they are incapable of recognizing what makes them happy.

In the situations with a lot of potential and volatility will you trust your own guts, logically calculating everything or will you ask people you trust what should be done?

If I’m going to be most adversely effected by the outcome, Ill trust my own gut instinct rather than have someone else make the decision for me. If it’s a situation where a lot more people will be affected, I’ll take a general consensus of all those who will be affected.

When you meet a stranger, what can you say about them right away? How do you know what this person is all about? Does it take long to understand someone's talents?

I can probably assess how long it will take for me to befriend them and whether or not I’d like to befriend them in the first meeting. I’d probably initiate a conversation and talk about various things and see them react to things. I think it would take quite sometime to truly appreciate and understand someone’s talent.

Remember an interesting person and call out 5-6 qualities you think are interesting in them. What makes an interesting person? Are you an interesting person? Why? What if someone calls you "boring" and "not interesting"?

I think my high school English teacher was fairly interesting and she was knowledgeable, authoritative, quirky, sophisticated and talkative.

An interesting person should either be a good conversationalist who can keep people engaged in a topic that could be anything under the roof or someone who is not necessarily rational but thinks and sees things differently than most people. I genuinely think I am one of the most fascinating people I know because I possess both of the above qualities. If someone though I was boring, but I didn’t like that person enough to care, I’d probably let them think I was boring, but if that person mattered to me I’d talk to them about a fun conspiracy theory.

What opinions, from people who know you, seem:
a) fair: I agree with my sister when she says that I can be very insulting or cold. I’ve been told I get stressed out easily which seems fair
b) not fair: That I don’t socialise a lot, I think I don’t socialise with people or groups of people I don’t particularly like.
c) hurtful: That I look serious all the time. Its how I am, I’m entitled to be serious or moody whenever I want to.
d) strange: That I’m dramatic, I tend to stay away from drama whenever I can.

Do you fantasize? What kind of fantasies do you have?

I do fantasize. I have all sorts of fantasizes, about doing work that would make me remembered by the world. Fantasies of being rich and famous is pretty commonplace around my head. I, like everyone else, also fantasize about sex.

What qualities should a person have to be successful and why?

To be successful, you need to enjoy the work you’re doing. You need to be dedicated and most importantly, patient. Also, be original.

What qualities can stop a person from being successful and why?

I think overconfidence and having an inflate ego can really hinder success.

What is more important in life – to be a good person or be a successful one? Why? Is a good person always successful? If not, then why?

Depends on your priorities. I would say that being successful is more important, I would like to have a life worth living and I would like to be remembered as having contributed something to the society. On an ordinary day, though I try to be a good person who is successful at whatever they are doing.

Well, you seem to be healthy enough.

Valued Fi, so Gamma or Delta.
Sophisticated logic/sensing and slightly simplistic F/N, so ILI, LIE, LSE, or SLI.
Looser observations...
Don't seem to portray any value into Se, but do value your Si. You also seem to portray no value with Ni, but value Ne.
Ni and Fi both keep up with social norms fairly well, with both being fairly "set."
Fe seems 1D, and you display stress at people saying you aren't good with it.
I'd guess SLI. Since you're listed as an extrovert in MBTI, I would be inclined to say you are one of the two more extroverted subtypes, Dominant or Creative.
Te Fe Dominant subtype

(Victor Gulenko) Outwardly businesslike, a little severe, cold and unapproachable. A realist and skeptic, distrustful of novelty, of those who advance [ideas of declarative character?]. Will always avoid useless matters, due to pragmatic nature. Very dynamic and technologically effective, Can extract the maximum of benefit even from tools. Their production is always foremost and will stand up to any competition on the market. Clothing is restrained, conservative, and they prefer a sporty, technological style.

Ne Se Creative subtype

(Victor Gulenko) Aesthete, disposed to obtaining pleasant sensations. Is considerably more gregarious than the initial subtype. More optimistic, but less operational. Sybaritic epicure. Gravitates towards the humanitarian disciplines - skill, linguistics, history. Dresses with taste, chooses clothes that emphasize their good looks, selects clothes according to colour.
