So anyone else listen to K-pop or J-pop? Lately Iv'e been getting into it because of anime. If you have and want to post a song go ahead. Here's a song Iv'e been listening to recently and can't get out of my head.

I love TVXQ, they're the greatest. Especially as the Duo they are now. I liked them before but I think they're better idols/artists right now. They sing fluently in both Japanese and Korean. AND JUNG YUNHO UKNOW is the most amazing person on the planet.

They have an epic history. :) PM if you want more recommendations. I have a lot. even female artists, good ones.
I listen to a few kpop songs/artists and a lot of Japanese rock music, but not really any jpop.

I used to listen to J-Pop. I enjoyed the Ali Project and most of their songs. A plus that they ended up with providing some of the OPs and EDs to anime like Code Geass.

Do you like 'the GazettE'? they're one of the jrock bands if you're into the visual type. NTTW is pretty good too but I miss Ellegarden the most.
I more recently got into some Kpop groups in the last few years, Mostly early DBSK/TVXQ, some EXO, MYNAME and such. Recently a friend has been giving me BTS/Bangtan.
I listened to Jpop before, but I'm not really into it nowadays. (I used to study lyrics to Arashi songs to practice vocab) Visual Kei hits my Japanese music need more often, and feels more accessible.

Comparing Kpop to Jpop brings up quite a lot of interesting cultural differences, though, to be sure. The differences between the two industries is astounding and a bit contradictory at times.
I don't like k-pop, and the only japanese pop artist that I sometimes listen to is Aimer. This is my favorite song (and the only one I still enjoy):

I personally prefer japanese rock, I completely love Dir En Grey and Sukekiyo.
