I have a fair idea of my type. But lately I've been unsure of my type and I suspect I might actually be another type than what I initially thought. And also cause of the bias associated with typing oneself. I am aware of cognitive functions etc and the more I read about them (especially Ti vs Fi) the more confused I've become. So please help me? Thanks in advance.

1. When working on a project where do you place your emphasis? the process of putting it together? or the final product? (Do you experiment with your perspectives to create ideas? )
process. I need to enjoy the process. Sometimes I don't even finish what I started

2. Are you a realist? Are you more of a no nonsense type of person? (I find these people like to call bullshit on everything)
No. I am a dreamer. I focus on how things can be changed to achieve a better state in the future

3. Would you say you make decisions quickly? or do you take a while coming to a conclusion, because you hope you're not missing some vital information that will change your mind?
I'm probably the most indecisive person you'll ever meet. I've never felt comfortable after making a decision.

4. Do you ever experience nostalgia? For instance being able to completely remember a mood of a past experience/time?
Rarely

5. Are you of the rebellious sort? The sort who rebels for no reason other than to rebel against authority?
I will only rebel if I could not understand the reasons behind their actions. I don't rebel just because I can

6. When watching a film and critiquing it? Do you critique it based on details in the film, for instance on how you thought a certain portion of it was un-realistic (or something along those lines) or based on the idea or point they were trying to get across/how well they got it across? (It can be a combination of both sometimes too) (an example would be for example, critiquing Passion of the Christ, do you think the movies retarded because no one can live as long as he did with that much blood loss, or because of the fundamental errors the movie makes when trying to make its point, and the way it tries to connect the audience to that point?)
No, not really. I only watch movies I know I'll enjoy/like. I prefer to leave the movie if I found the movie boring/ridiculous (I have done this a few times at the theaters, so I don't go there much these days, I prefer DVDs)

7. When debating with others, do you ever get the feeling or state for that matter, that you can see where your opponent is coming from? For instance I have gotten into arguments over things I honestly don't believe (or could care less if it were true), but it all started when someone would tell me about a certain topic and how this certain stance is stupid. Then I would say well, I can see why they'd think that or how it could be possible, then they'd start arguing with me as if I had a stake in it.... Do you feel you do anything like that?
Yeah I feel compelled to argue because at the end I usually get a better view of the subject matter and feel more confident of my own view

8. Do you notice symbols in the world, do you ever try and wrap the symbol back to an idea that you believe?]
I could not think of an example.

9. Are you hurt by criticisms? Do you get personally offended when people try and criticize you? or are you thick skinned?
Hardly. I get occasional displeasure/outrage at things but it takes a lot to offend me.

10. Say for example your learning about cameras in school, would you be more inclined to go home right away and read a whole shit load on cameras so you feel confident in your knowledge of cameras? or would you feel perfectly comfortable when the teacher calls on people to come try it out, to just hop up there and start using it?
What is this, a test of will? Then I'll definitely lose. I jump right in and swim away, lol.

11. When you are out do you worry about how people will interpret any action you take? (sort of in a seinfeld sort of way, where they over analyze actions people make, trying to find their true motivation) Do you feel a sort of pressure from this?
yeah sometimes I feel self-conscious

12. In a classroom setting do you ever find yourself helping other people out with projects or homework when you see their struggling? Do you do this to make yourself feel more comfortable?
no unless they ask, which I'd be more than happy to help

13. Do you find yourself ranting to your friends about how a certain something could have been done way easier? Or how someone went about doing something (anything like a project, work, etc.) was really stupid and you could have done it way better and in a more simple fashion?
Yes. at work. but apparently my boss "knows better"

14. how does your average day go in general,
Uneventful. just routine and mundane tasks

15. what things do you value the most,
autonomy, satisfying my intellectual curiosity, freedom & independence, i value my need to breakaway from routine (i think this overlaps with freedom/independence)

16. what things regularly bug you,
Reality bugs me. Routines. Not having found my passion(s). That I can't stay interested in things for too long (seriously I'm screwed)

17. what do you value most in other people and what qualities do you find most repulsive in others,
I value Sincerity in others. Qualities I find most repulsive: close-mindedness, being on their high horse etc

18. how do you evaluate people in general,
Basically from what their topics of conversation revolve around. I try to get a "feel" if they're the kind of people I can talk/relate to. If they don't I won't bother and if they have potential I try to get to know them better. Their social status, type of cars they own and whatnot mean nothing to me.

19. how do you arrive at your decisions,
Cost/benefit. I tend to take as much time as I can so I can be as objective as possible.

20. what factors are you most likely to pay attention to when deciding on things.
The fact that I don't like making one? haha. Um, I like to have as much information as possible.

21. Any peculiarities that you have noticed about your personality?
Yeah I'm bad at catching up with friends/acquaintances. I get bored easily, I can't hold an interest in anything for too long. My life lacks direction. I trust very few with my feelings and thoughts, I hate being vulnerable, so I prefer to express my inner most feelings and desires through art (playin guitar, writing poems etc). I tend to keep things to myself and not speak my mind because people generally don't take it well (I've been called insensitive etc). I detest materialism and consumerism, I understand you need to earn to satisfy your basic needs but I don't understand those who organize their lives around extrinsic goals (like social status) thus resulting in materialism and consumerism.

22. Anything that makes you stand out from other people that you know?
Not really. Hmm maybe the fact that I'm used to being the youngest in every environment I'm in- school, college, work etc (I skipped 2 years of junior high so I'm used to always being the youngest in my grade, and in college too etc). I definitely don't stand out though, I prefer to just fade in background.

23. What do you yourself think are your strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths: I don't even know what to write here. I'm good with numbers etc. Love to learn new things. In fact I think life is about learning.
Weaknesses: I find it hard to articulate my thoughts/feelings. Bad organization skills. Bad in general socializing & following social rules/convention. Apathetic.

process. I need to enjoy the process. Sometimes I don't even finish what I started

This is a P/J question, (Ne, Se, Ti, Fi) all enjoy the ride of the process, results or practicality is less important. You are def a P.

2. Are you a realist? Are you more of a no nonsense type of person? (I find these people like to call bullshit on everything)
No. I am a dreamer. I focus on how things can be changed to achieve a better state in the future

N/S question, again you are floating towards N.

3. Would you say you make decisions quickly? or do you take a while coming to a conclusion, because you hope you're not missing some vital information that will change your mind?
I'm probably the most indecisive person you'll ever meet. I've never felt comfortable after making a decision.

Another P/J, you answered P.

4. Do you ever experience nostalgia? For instance being able to completely remember a mood of a past experience/time?
Rarely

Nostalgia is often associated with Si (INPs have it as their 3rd function) It's probably not developed yet.

5. Are you of the rebellious sort? The sort who rebels for no reason other than to rebel against authority?
I will only rebel if I could not understand the reasons behind their actions. I don't rebel just because I can

This strikes me as Fi, a Ti would rebel is they saw the action as incorrect. The Fi would focus more on the reasoning.

6. When watching a film and critiquing it? Do you critique it based on details in the film, for instance on how you thought a certain portion of it was un-realistic (or something along those lines) or based on the idea or point they were trying to get across/how well they got it across? The question is N/S but you answered Fi.

I have a hard time telling this one, it def relates to either Ti or Fi. Adding the "confident in your own view" may be Fi, Ti would feel more confident in the information/understanding.

8. Do you notice symbols in the world, do you ever try and wrap the symbol back to an idea that you believe?]
I could not think of an example.

This is an N/S question, but the pattern mentality is more focused for Ni.

9. Are you hurt by criticisms? Do you get personally offended when people try and criticize you? or are you thick skinned?
Hardly. I get occasional displeasure/outrage at things but it takes a lot to offend me.

Your response rings Ti, I know INF are more likely to be sensitive to criticism (INFPs tend to understand their faults a bit more, and don't need to be told something that they know)

10. Say for example your learning about cameras in school, would you be more inclined to go home right away and read a whole shit load on cameras so you feel confident in your knowledge of cameras? or would you feel perfectly comfortable when the teacher calls on people to come try it out, to just hop up there and start using it?

Strikes me as Fi.

12. In a classroom setting do you ever find yourself helping other people out with projects or homework when you see their struggling? Do you do this to make yourself feel more comfortable?
no unless they ask, which I'd be more than happy to help

This more of a Ti-Fi vs Te-Fe, You answered Ti-Fi.

13. Do you find yourself ranting to your friends about how a certain something could have been done way easier? Or how someone went about doing something (anything like a project, work, etc.) was really stupid and you could have done it way better and in a more simple fashion?
Yes. at work. but apparently my boss "knows better"

Ne thing generally.

14. how does your average day go in general,

I put in some critiques, overall I'd say you vibe slightly more INFP. Your inferior Te seems to be quite good though.
